@DanepakNew It's so sad fella, I know of teams that run trials for kids at that age. Then if there's a good one they will kick out another for them. Just let them play.

Terrible hearing reports off grassroots youth clubs in Norfolk, replacing players at u7s/u8s with “better players” these kids are only just starting there football journey! Many playing in communities with friends, I don’t care who is available, sticking with my 8 win or lose. ⚽️

Today is our last game of the season, the last game ever for Eastbury Eagles. It's been a blast 🦅

@MHFCFerals @EastburyFc I think it is for many. The league and the FA need to do much more to support teams in my opinion, allowing some teams to register 50+ players is just crazy . The expansion of privately run mid week leagues which take up training facilities for weekend teams and more!

@LiamShore80 @EastburyFc That's another problem, we've struggled at times to get 11 players on the pitch from time to time. It's very difficult

@MHFCFerals Teams seem to be struggling more than ever. A few of us over the hills have had to put our boots on for @EastburyFc this year because the commitment just isn't there anymore. Shame I think they'll be more folding.

@AFCDragonfly @bury_sunday That's looks nasty we played over Stoke By Claire absolute shocker of a pitch. @bury_sunday and @SuffolkFA should really take a look at the pitches used. Or maybe match officials should step up to the plate?

We all love this game but having to play on a pitch like yesterday shouldn’t be allowed. Ridiculous @bury_sunday that a pitch like that is deemed acceptable

@AFC_Elmswell @EastburyFc Also the amount of choice for lads is an issue private soccer six leagues, mid week 11 v 11 games is killing local weekend footy. As long as the cash keeps rolling in I guess that's the focus.

@LiamShore80 @EastburyFc Its a shame but unfortunately I don't think there is anything the league or the FA could've done unfortunately. Its been a struggle for a lot of clubs to get players especially if like us you're finding players but they tell you they'd rather play for a club "in bury"

Well its all but confirmed... Unfortunately we will be folding as a club before the season even got underway. Being let down by a group of players last minute and change in commitments from some players we have relied on the past 3/4 years means its just not possible to continue

@AFC_Elmswell @EastburyFc I just don't think either do enough. A social media post here and there is all I personally see maybe there's more that goes on. The issue for me is the step change from U18 to men's footy, there's not enough to encourage it many U18 teams simply fold.

@AFC_Elmswell Shame but I personally don't think enough is done by the league or the FA to help keep clubs afloat. I know of other clubs really struggling and the help just isn't there. @EastburyFc are in the need of players, if any of your lads want to commit and carry on give them a shout

over the past 6/7 years in my time managing the club. Some of our players and myself will be sure to see a lot of you in the future but unfortunately not as part of this club

The @bury_sunday are extremely saddened to hear of the passing of Martin Chapple, he was a lovely, kind man who loved his football, playing and then refereeing, as well as a long standing contribution to the St Nicholas Hospice Shield. Our thought’s go to his family and friends

@DanepakNew @fc_smiler @bury_sunday Write to the league and get the other 6 to sign it as well, come up with a solution that you all agree on. My humble opinion is to request to play each other 3 times. It's not the league fault that you guys are in this position it's the players/clubs that have called it a day.

@LiamShore80 @fc_smiler @bury_sunday Yes Liam exactly that, and let’s be honest I shall be encouraging them to do that as at the end of the day, the whole point of playing football is to play football. Hopefully the league come up with a solution.

If it’s true @fc_smiler have folded then @bury_sunday need to do something as hardly worth playing in division one with 7 teams 😢
