🔥 3 MOST-ADDED Players on Yahoo Today #FantasyBasketball 🏀 🔵 Herb Jones: A multi-week absence caused Jones to be dropped in a lot of leagues, and he's only now back up to 30% rostered. He came out hot in his return, posting 17/6/4/4/1 in 26 minutes against the Spurs. I don't really believe that Jones is now a must-roster player, as this past performance was driven by hot shooting (6-10 FG, 5-5 FT) in a fast-paced game (135-132). I think he's mostly a good add if you need steals, as he's averaging 1.8 STL across his past 13 games. If you don't need steals, it's borderline. I understand that by gut feeling you might assume Jones will get more usage because Zion is out, but that's not the case. Jones' usage rate actually decreases by about -1% with Zion off the court. Jones' efficiency also crashes without Zion. Again, he's a fine add, but don't expect an offensive breakout based on this one game. 🟢 Jordan Walsh: Remains a solid defense streamer, averaging 1.8 STL and 1.0 BLK over the past 5 games -- the same stretch where he's averaging 14 points on 76.5 FG%. He's far from a safe medium/long-term add in standard leagues, but I would consider him a hold if you need defensive numbers. We'll see if he gets the same amount of minutes when his shooting finally regresses. 🔴 Aaron Holiday: Has been seeing more minutes lately due to what seems like a combination of hot shooting and game script/blowouts, plus absences to Kevin Durant and Alperen Sengun. Over the past 7 games, Holiday is averaging 13/2/2 and making 3.0 3PM per game at 44 3P%. He's a solid streamer in this limited-schedule environment, but I wouldn't be trusting him as any sort of hold, even in deep leagues.

Read & React 10/6 For those who aren't aware, I provide a nightly Twitter breakdown of all the games, focusing on value shifts/streamers/adds/drops. I thought I'd start early this season, keeping in mind this is just the preseason... DEN@BOS Strawther was impressive but 3 of their top 6 were sitting. Both he and Watson are worth monitoring early in the piece. Horford has been dropped in a few spots, perhaps as a result of not playing. Don't think for a minute that he won't be ahead of Kornet, Tillman and Queta. Worth adding if he was dropped. NYK@CHA I think you could consider McBride in the last round of drafts. Should have a consistent role and the path to minutes is relatively clear with no DiVincenzo. Kolek was impressive but won't play enough to warrant attention outside of very deep leagues. Ball looked great. I'm all in on him. Miller also looked great, even facilitating the offense at times. Ball played off the ball more than I've seen in the past, something that could benefit both players. Richards could be worth a last-round grab until we get some clarity regarding Williams. WAS@TOR Poole at point guard is a go. I think he could hit 20/7/1/3 this season, making him a solid top-70 target. Sarr looked better here than he did in summer league. Feel free to take him late and see what happens. Barrett did Barrett things. Scored relatively efficiently, missed his free throws and did nothing on defense. Olynyk is a viable third-center option. Draft him and hope he hit close to 25 minutes per night. MIL@DET Lillard looked far better than he did this time last season. Remains a solid target in the late second round. If Wright can hit 20 minutes per night, he will once again be an elite steals streamer. I'd love to see Reed play ahead of Stewart but it feels unlikely. Duren did nothing to change my mind. If he can get up to 1.2 blocks per game, I think he can push the top 40. Ivey is growing on me as a late-round target. PHO@LAL Despite being the fifth option on offense, Jones needs to be drafted. I think Allen will be more of a streamer than a must-roster player this season. No real surprises for the Lakers. Christie remains intriguing but won't play enough on most nights. Worth watching in deeper formats. Hachimura will ebb and flow but should be viewed as a points streamer.

Wednesdays Thoughts MIL@CLE Even with Middleton out, there isn't really anyone worth streaming/adding for the Bucks. Likewise for the Cavs. Love would probably be the only consideration if you need boards and 3s.
