ㅤ — PLURALSPACE! 9,5/10 literally the best option and the best alternative for simply plural. the unique features were definitely what made us fall in love with this one. absolutely perfect. i really recommend this one! :3 more information down below!

Ableism can look like: - assuming all disabled people have able family members always available and willing to care for their needs; - taking away support when the quality of life gets slightly less miserable; - making services only accessible for disabled with able caregivers.

I dont want to sound like a boomer but some discourse on here makes me think y'all don't have like... real problems? other shit to worry about?? (this post isn't about one specific topic, I've seen multiple discussions this applies to in the last few days)

i love the complex bumpy road of “i accept being a system and i love my headmates” to “im extremely different than the average person and it’s embarrassing” not even a denial stage but the secret third option . which happens once in a blue moon but it still sucks

@dykeline for me, it's mostly knowing who they are but feeling like I'm meeting them for the first time. it has always confused me since I was a child, but I'd know that was my grandfather and that I'd always known him, but still feel shy and anxious because it felt like a stranger +

To other autistic systems, can we talk about “not recognizing friends or family” as a dissociative symptom? What does that mean? Like literally, not recognize their face? Or know them vaguely, but be mostly disconnected from their role in your life? I think I’m being too literal.

DID is so funny, because WHY do I get so frustrated with myself for struggling to remember that I often forget things.

it’s crazy how when you’re a kid dissociating just *works*. You can get beaten by your parents and just forget about it. But when you’re an adult and something bad happens to you your brain tries to dissociate it away and ends up breaking the quarantine. Now everything’s fucked.

all I said is that you shouldn't go out if you're that worried about the rain, mom. why does that make me mean but the countless horrible things you've said to me don't?

anytime I don't have a huge smile on my face, I'm angry in their eyes. anytime I speak remotely bluntly, it turns into an argument about how rude I *always* am and I should just shut up if I have nothing nice to say...

my parents, especially my mother, really seem to think I'm an extremely grumpy, angry, rude person and idk what I did to earn that. EVERYTHING I say is taken as disrespectful and rude, constantly being told "I'm too harsh" when the truth is I do my best to pretend I like them
