I have been hugely impressed by the quality, dedication and enthusiasm of @unlockedgrads working in some of our most challenging prisons. Really sorry to hear the scheme, in future will not go ahead, at a time when the recruitment of high-quality officers is so important.

This is a very good example of something I discuss in chapter three of "Failed State". Procurement systems designed for massive corporates like Capita and Serco being applied to small charities creates constant fiascos.
