If another person is under unlawful attack, you are clear to use any legal means to defend them, up until the attacker is no longer a reasonable threat (fled, surrendered, KO, etc.) If a concealed sock flail is legal in his state, it's fair play.

My comment about original text referred to the risible notion that the interstate commerce clause or general welfare clause limit the 10th Amendment.

@ThrillaRilla369 If you can’t afford the 20% tip, then you shouldn’t be having someone else prepare your food for you. Restaurants hire people to specifically work the takeout area. They are paid less than $2.50 an hour here in Texas. Without tips, they do not survive.

Why on earth am I tipping 20% for pick-up orders? I drove there, picked up my food, and had zero table service! Yet I'm guilted into leaving a tip because the payment screen shames me into it. Isn't this setup just absolutely ridiculous?

@MilaLovesJoe Education has gotten worse year after year since the Dept, of Education was founded. The question isn't why we dismantled it, but why we waited this long. The "one size fits all" approach doesn't work. Education ought to be state and local, not Federal.

@willchamberlain I'm not rooting for anyone to lose their jobs, but the deficit isn't going to be cut back without making cuts. If we don't cut the deficit, the cost to service the debt will outstrip revenue in 10-20 years. Things must change, despite the pain - or we go the way of the USSR.
