@RangersBanter17 Think we romanticise a little too much about his time at club in what was a relatively poor squad. Few good flashes, a fighting spirit & Celtic game but £8m and on £50k+ a week is well above what his ability is worth. No surprise Besiktas like Wolfsburg before no longer want him

@__YC9__ Is always difficult to shift players when everyone knows you’re trying to. Results in teams trying to low ball. Also sometimes doesn’t help when you’ve got guys on wages they shouldn’t be near. Who wants to pay a decent fee plus £26k+ a week for Danilo, or £20k+ a week Bajrami 😬

@willytownsly I don't think its penny pinching given the huge losses we incur each year. With the lack of European money last season from a horrible campaign and replacing managers, I bet we have a 10m loss from last season.

@FPL_Badgers9 Just said this to someone. At 1-0 as much as you were pretty camped in you were still a massive breakaway threat. Soon as he brought the extra defender in you were under siege. Hate that mentality of “brining and extra defender on will help us solidify”

@fplblackbox_az The info that was around early on Friday to some was that he wasn’t starting. Whether that meant missing out altogether or sub would have been left up to them to judge. By proxy answering your question about would more people not have sold. Who had the info is a different thing

@TimbersFPL @BarryRoland19 Sounds like a brisk stroll pace for 16k walking “all day”. The average adult pace walk should hit 10k steps in around 80 mins. Which falls in line pretty perfectly with your morning hours pace as an example

@BarryRoland19 How slow are you walking? I can do an hour in the morning before anyone else is up & I’ve done 7500-8000 steps. I rarely get to 20,000 but do 12,000-15,000 steps every day

Don't understand people who claim to walk 20k steps a day. Occasionally, on the weekends, when I tell my wife "let's go on a long walk", and we walk all day, and I look at my phone after hours and hours of walking, I'm at like 16,230 max. Is everyone just a liar?

@FPL_Instinctive He used 3atb at Frankfurt too. Just his set up. Palace squad didn’t suit his shape at all when first joined but is so married to his system that used likes of Clyne, Ward & Lerma at CB because they didn’t have 3 CBs to use. Guehi missed nearly full half of season when he joined

Oliver Glasner is a really good manager. Formation-based analysis is pretty dull (worse is the heuristic of back three = bad), but even still, I do believe Glasner used a back three at Palace purely because it suited the squad perfectly. He’s sensible enough to change shape to suit his squad, he’s a good man-manager, and he handles his squad pretty decently, imo. Regardless of where he goes next, I think he’ll have a pretty extraordinary club career.

@FPLFella Has everyone just removed the fact from their brain that Gab is just back from a hamstring injury, a reinjury from last years serious one. Been out 150 days with hamstring issue since April & we are in middle of peak winter. There really is no rush on making sure he’s recovered
