Bern has a quirky summer tradition: instead of driving home, some locals jump into the Aare River after work, pack their clothes in waterproof bags, and float with the current all the way home — a refreshingly unique commute.

Feeding the strays this morning, these cats were starving too. We didn’t have cat food but we watered the dry dog food, it was all we could do, but at least we know their tummies are full. It’s a Paws2Rescue Christmas here in Romania.

The next lovely boy who can leave Romania behind as I have a place for him is Ciobi. The downside is the dreaded bus fare. If anyone can help with his £260 it will be an amazing Xmas pressie for him. It will totally change his life 🙏🙏🙏 tinyurl.com/DogBusFares

Big news. Sidney, Bruce, Beth and her daughter Pixie are on the way to the UK. Sidney to his family, Bruce to a foster home, Beth and her pup Pixie to lovely Val.
