@FaithoskiDesign That’s why I don’t believe in “build in public” it has a lot of disadvantages than advantages. Most importantly spiritually a lot of dreams die or aborted before their time when exposed to people because of the negative energy and that’s a form of witchcraft.

That urge to show off what you’re building? Dangerous. You chase attention once, then lose focus. Next thing, no consistency, no progress… just proving a point that doesn’t matter.

Creativity isn’t something you “get.” It’s something you train. You refine your eye by making decisions, failing fast, and adjusting relentlessly. Taste grows through practice not inspiration.

You can be anything you want, so why did you choose to be plain stupid? Since you clearly thought this was a compelling argument lemme break it down for you: 1. Nobody is policing how anyone spends their money. My tweet was never about entitlement, it was about basic respect. When people voluntarily offer their time and skills for free and are completely ignored in favor of a sloppy AI output, calling that out isn't entitlement. It's accountability. 2. "Your designs don't bring food to the client's table." That's genuinely one of the weakest arguments ever typed. Every brand you recognize, every product that made you stop scrolling, every campaign that drove you to make a purchase, a designer was behind it. Apple, Nike, Coca-Cola didn't build billion-dollar identities by accident. Design is silent salesmanship. The fact that you don't see it only proves how effectively it works. 3. "People will jump on anything." Yes and that's precisely the problem being highlighted. Desperation shouldn't be the standard. Just because people will settle doesn't mean settling should be celebrated or encouraged. 4. Nobody is fighting AI. The arguement is against using AI poorly, failing with it, and then mocking the very professionals whose expertise you couldn't replicate. You're right that freelancers don't dictate client choices. But you also don't get to disrespect an entire profession and escape criticism for it. You really need to learn More Ski.

My issue with you guys that are designers on twitter is 1. Entitlement to a clients way of doing his thing. 2. Overrating yourselves so much. Your designs doesn’t really bring food to clients table if we are being honest. 3. Thinking life end on this app. People are on other SM platform looking for food to eat. They will jump on anything. 4. Trying to fight AI, lol. Baba, this is the latest reality. People will rather pay cheap AI work than some of you rude-ass designers, bad work ethic, excuses and late deliveries and even grumble when client sends their reviews. — Oga if you want to work where you have authority, go and work in a real firm as a design lead, you must have earned this role with experience. But as for freelancing, you have no authority on what people want.

Countless designers generously offered their skills and creativity for free, designed flyers for his wedding, dedicating time to his birthdays, yet none of them was selected. Let's extend some grace and assume it simply went unnoticed. But one has to wonder, what would it truly cost to seek out a talented designer and compensate them properly for their craft? And to make matters worse, after a failed attempt at generating the design through AI, You now decided to make it a challenge, effectively reducing the value of professional design to a game. In my honest opinion, this is nothing short of a profound disrespect toward creative professionals who pour their hearts into their work.

@egbokavictory_ Yes, they do but very selectively, also most will actually just scan through, headlines, skim some sections, and only where is relevant.

Most would say this works because it’s “cute.” That’s not it. The power is in the contrast: real children + illustrated futures. You’re not seeing who they are, you’re seeing who they could become. That’s art direction.

@Hiadenike Your welcome. First before you even worry about text. Think about your image. When image is good, text becomes easy. That’s the method I use even when developing key visuals. I create strong images, make sure it’s eye catching and then make the text interact with my image.

@LibertyIsraelO Thank you for this. I didn't even have a problem with the clown, I had a problem with making APRIL the ground he steps on.

POV: You had an idea… and abandoned it 😅 March 30, I got this idea: show April Fool’s visually and welcome the new month. The concept: a clown stepping out from a paper door onto "APRIL" with a shocked look. Excited, I jumped in. My brain: This is where it gets real 🤣 Hours later… I couldn’t make “APRIL” solid enough for him to step on. I had to let it go. Then it hit me: I’m not there yet. Learning never stops. One day, I’ll come back and execute it like the pro I’m becoming. Have you ever abandoned a project because the vision wouldn’t come to life?

Designing for prop firms isn’t about making things look good — it’s about building trust. Traders only convert when a brand feels credible, clear, and professional. One thing I enjoyed working on HyperFunding was their brand story. It was clear. Structured. Built around trust. When a prop firm has a strong brand foundation, design becomes easier and more intentional. If you’re building a prop firm and want your brand to look credible from day one, DM me.

11. (Concluding) Great key visuals feel simple. But that simplicity comes from clear decisions, strong direction, and ruthless editing. Your brand deserves intentional design, not random decoration. Let’s start your project. DM

10 A key visual is not a one-off. It should extend into a system: ads, website, social, campaigns. If it can’t scale, it’s just an artwork.

Art Direction in Advertising Tip 2: HOW TO DESIGN DISRUPTIVE KEY VISUALS FOR CAMPAIGNS Designing a strong key visual isn’t about making something “look good.” It’s about compressing an idea into a single visual moment. Here’s a simple art direction framework:🧵
