If you actually read the picture, the movie did not make enough money to be considered a success. It was both highly rated on critic and audience ratings and still didnt find a big enough audience. The point of showing it is because people are looking solely at rotten tomato scores and thinking that is the only metric to look at.

@LieDisinfectant @ForeignGam3r @PaulTassi It’s a film about black African women from a relatively small director being compared to Christopher fucking Nolan. What point are you trying to make ?

Didnt say that alot of people wont go see it. The point is yea you can have high ratings on a movie that a group of people liked and went to go see. What these numbers dont capture is people who didnt go see it. In the case of woman king. It had high critic reviews, it had high audience reviews but that audience was smaller than what these reviews would have you believe. Sales is the direct meassure of how many people went to see something which is why it is relevant. Obviously anything with Nolans name will have people come to watch it. That has never been the question. The real question is due to decisions made by him will it prevent this movie from reaching the same heights as his previous major successes. That answer we dont know right now. But looking at only rotten tomatoes scores will not in any way tell you if a movie is truly successful. Sales is the only factor that can.

Todd Howard just shared plans for the Fallout, The Elder Scrolls, and Starfield franchises. These worlds have earned a special place with hundreds of millions of people over many years. I'm looking forward to what's next, including the partnership with Obsidian on a new Fallout game and closer collaboration with ZeniMax Online Studios on The Elder Scrolls. The achievements of these franchises are remarkable: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has crossed 65 million units sold, becoming one of the 10 best-selling games of all time, Fallout 4 has also crossed 35 million units sold, joining the top 25, and Starfield will soon reach over 1 billion hours played.
Bethesda Game Studios@BethesdaStudios

A NOTE FROM BETHESDA GAME STUDIOS We love making these worlds as much as you love playing in them. Today, we want to share what's next for Bethesda Game Studios and what you can expect from us in the years ahead. For forty years, we've built games that have entertained almost half a billion players. More than just games, these are worlds. Worlds for you to explore, shape, and make your own. Worlds we return to together. That's what's driving us forward. We're investing more deeply in the worlds players love, giving creators a bigger role in shaping their experiences, and bringing our teams closer together so we can get our games into your hands sooner, support them longer, and continue building them alongside you for decades to come. STARFIELD CONTINUES With over 17 million players logging almost a billion hours to date, Starfield remains an important part of our future. As we enter Year 3, we'll continue expanding the Settled Systems with new stories, targeted gameplay improvements, and additional updates, while preparing for the launch of new Starborn content next year. More than 40% of players already customize their experience through Creations, and we'll continue investing in creators and giving players new ways to make Starfield their own. CREATED BY PLAYERS We've believed from the beginning that our worlds belong not only to the people who make them, but also to the people who play them. That's why we've long provided players with the tools to create their own experiences, dating back to the Morrowind Construction Set. This year marked another major milestone for Creations with its expansion to Fallout 4, joining Skyrim and Starfield. We're proud to say Creators have already earned more than $10 million in royalties from their work. THE FUTURE OF FALLOUT Fallout is one of our biggest priorities today. Fallout 5 remains our long-range destination, and we have multiple Fallout projects in active development right now. Fallout 76 continues to be home to millions of players exploring Appalachia together. With nearly 70 free updates released to date, the journey is far from over. In fact, we have a major Fallout 76 expansion planned for next year: Raven Rock, a prequel story to Fallout 3. Fallout 4, the most award-winning game in the franchise, just celebrated its 10-year anniversary and recently passed over 35 million copies sold, continuing to attract a new audience every year. We also know many players want to revisit previous Fallout experiences. While we're not announcing any dates today, we have been working on remasters for both Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas. Fallout Shelter continues to be the most popular way to experience Fallout on the go, with more than 250 million players. There’s more ahead for Fallout Shelter, including new Seasons. An unscripted Fallout Shelter television project is also in the works with our partners at Amazon Studios and Kilter Films. We'd like to congratulate Kilter Films and Amazon Studios on the 10 Emmy nominations for Fallout Season 2. Production on Season 3 is already underway. And while we won't host a traditional Fallout Day broadcast this year, we're already planning something special for Fallout's 30th anniversary in 2027, when Fallout Day will be celebrated live in Washington, D.C. STUDIO COLLABORATION The wasteland continues to expand as we team up once again with our longtime friends at Obsidian Entertainment. We're happy to confirm they're working with us on a new Fallout project. We'll have more to share in the future. We're also bringing our teams closer together across Bethesda. ZeniMax Online Studios will partner closely with Bethesda Game Studios on The Elder Scrolls franchise, while continuing to deliver incredible new experiences for The Elder Scrolls Online. Season One: Return of the Thieves Guild recently launched, and the team has more planned for the future. By aligning more directly across the franchise, we can create even better experiences for players. Bringing our teams closer together is helping us build a stronger foundation for everything we create next. THE ELDER SCROLLS AND BEYOND That foundation extends beyond our teams to the technology, tools, and systems that will power the next generation of Bethesda RPGs. Our teams are now developing The Elder Scrolls VI and Fallout 5 on Creation Engine 3, a shared technology platform we've been building since Starfield's launch. It allows our teams to support multiple projects simultaneously with new tools, rendering, and systems that define our games. Fallout 5 is currently in preproduction. The Elder Scrolls VI is our primary development focus today, with the majority of our team currently working on the next chapter of the franchise. With over 65 million copies sold, players are still exploring Skyrim 15 years later, but we know it’s been a very long wait for the sequel. The next chapter is on the way. We’re where we planned to be, loving how it looks, and playing it every day. THE ROAD AHEAD Across Bethesda Game Studios, we're building for the future of Fallout, The Elder Scrolls, and Starfield. We're investing in our technology, bringing teams closer together, supporting our live games, expanding into new forms of entertainment, and developing the next generation of Bethesda RPGs. We couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead and wanted to share as much as we could today. We can’t thank you enough for all you’ve given to us and these worlds. And we can’t wait to continue them together. –Bethesda Game Studios

These are just words and mean nothing. Fallout in pre production could mean that i am in a nursing home before it comes out and could honestly be near 20 years after fallout 4 released. Their entire way of making games for franchises is broken. Split teams off to dedicated to a franchise, hire outside studios or something is better than what they are doing now

Todd Howard has shared one of Bethesda’s biggest updates in years, giving fans a clearer look at what’s next for Fallout, The Elder Scrolls, and Starfield. >Fallout 5 is officially in pre-production but is still years away. Bethesda’s main focus remains The Elder Scrolls VI, and full development on Fallout 5 won’t begin until after that game is finished. > Obsidian is officially working on a new Fallout project. >Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas are both getting remasters. Bethesda says both classics are being updated for modern platforms > The Elder Scrolls VI is now Bethesda Game Studios’ main priority, with most of the team focused on its development. > Starfield isn’t going anywhere. Howard confirmed the game will continue receiving updates and new content, with more announcements planned in the future. > Bethesda also says the Fallout franchise has a long-term future, with multiple projects planned beyond Fallout 5.

Jon Bernthal has praised Lupita Nyong’o’s performance as Helen of Troy in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, saying he couldn’t imagine anyone else in the role. Speaking about her casting, Bernthal said: “For me, there’s no one else in the world who could have done that, who comes with a level of beauty both inside and out that you believe somebody would go to war for… I’m just so glad it was her.” They are laughing at us at this point

BUT BUT BUT all the SERIOUS Right Wing Grifters.. I mean Critics, told us NOBODY would like this film but PAID SHILLS!! cuz of all the Black Women and Trans People!! the lack of Greeks!!! and cuz it was totally boring!!!!! Que the biggest grifters left who strategically havent made their reviews yet, to tell you that despite all the bitching they did, they also liked the film and thought only certain aspects were bad that they already made fun of. Real Ones for sure. Just watch. 🍿 Next we will have the retaliatory review bombs for making some look dumb.

We don't have a guarantee of that, which is the entirety of the problem. All of this comes down to digital purchase rights. Saying they won't remove games due to licensing could be believed if Sony as an organization didn't already remove other forms of digital purchases. Now they have set the precedent. Since they also have in their policy that they are perfectly fine with closing an account that has purchases also means they are willing to do it. If say next gen I decided to pick up the next Xbox first and waited several years till I picked up the next PlayStation then will they get rid of everything I purchased on my ps5. I give this example because this describes me. I have done this for the ps3, ps4 and ps5 generation. Under Sony's new rules with digital purchases I would have lost my entire library each of those times because I played exclusively on my Xbox before playing on the PlayStation for its exclusives. And anyone who says that I should just log in to my account I would say, why are you giving Sony that much power over your behavior. They could just actually give me the digital item as a true purchase rather than a rented license and all of this goes away. My example is a real but rather simple example. There are many others including troop deployment, school changes, new parent reasons where people may not have time for games for a few years. None of them would deserve to lose their entire purchase history because of that.

@LieDisinfectant @insomniacgames I agree that it's messed up how they force us to sign in within 3 years, and there are valid reasons to skip that amount of time, but these cases are probably rare to the point it won't be an issue for most of us. They won't remove games from our libraries due to licensing.

Tonight Trump will re-litigate the 2020 election. Why? In support of his SAVE act, which is actually a Voter Suppression Act. This is a Hail Mary effort to keep his corrupt power grab from being swamped by a blue wave in November.

Sony has proven that digital purchases are not the same as physical when they decided to remove people's digitally purchased movies. They also have a rule about deactivating accounts with no activity for 3 years even if they have digital purchases. Until they change their digital rights then a disc is the only way to guarantee ownership

This is honestly getting ridiculous. 😂 It doesn't matter what game I post about anymore, there's always someone in the replies saying: "No disc, no buy." I get that some people prefer physical games, but are you really going to skip every great game just because there's no disc version? And btw, I've noticed that a lot of the accounts spamming this under every post were created either this month or last month. 🤔 Are physical-only gamers really this serious about it, or has "no disc, no buy" just become the latest spam trend on X? Genuinely curious. 👇

The difference between Canada & USA is when America is on fire we send resources to help save lives. When Canada is on fire Americans just bitch and complain about air quality Americans truly are the worst people on earth
Austin@MrAustinPredict

🚨 BREAKING: Michigan officially has the WORST air quality on the PLANET — outpacing India, China, and the Republic of Congo — by A LOT. A 518 AQI because CANADA can’t get their wildfires under control. 💨 This level of micro dust causes LONG-TERM irreversible lung damage.

If I don't watch my blu rays for 3 years don't doesn't come to my house and take them away. Plenty of reasons why people might not log in or play their PlayStation for that or any amount of time. They randomly removed movies from people because of licensing, the same can apply to games
