I had two incredibly minor things to have done under warranty, and when they did the free safety inspection it turned out that three out of four tires were dangerous. They still had plenty of tread, but they were cracked all around the sidewall and nobody could explain what happened. Fortunately warranty covered those as well, but there was a delay to get them delivered.

@LieutenantRusty Had a lot of that with the annual "cleaning and upgrading your water cooling rig". Last year it took like a month to get everything ready.

@cdrsalamander Does the gator navy need a gunboat? Yes. Is the budget there for one? No.
A dual-purpose 5" gun has a lot more utility. And stores a lot more rounds. I'm not sure what hull you'd dedicate to shore fire support & mount a Mk. 71 on it. Doesn't seem like a good fit for the Burkes.

So I had a genuine conversation with an avowed communist discussing this point. We made it simple. A lathe. What if I were to acquire and fabricate all of the components of a lathe myself? Would I be bourgeoise? Eventually it all came down to, "uh yeah and we'd have to K you"
