@ShadeTV Never sure since they do keep it a mystery, but the guess for Regal was correct and AMC ended up showing the same movie on Monday. Can’t think of what else it could be tomorrow. You never know though.

@TheWhaleFace Yes, that will inevitably be the case, because they would not send the same film and instead would select a second one to increase their chances of getting nominated.

@LifeIsAFilmFest So some countries might have more than one film representing them during the nominations process?

In addition to the films selected by countries, these festival award winners will also be eligible for the Best International Feature Film Oscar. Cannes - Palme d’Or Venice - Golden Lion Sundance - World Cinema Grand Jury Prize Berlinale - Golden Bear Toronto - Platform Award Busan - Busan Award This year’s Golden Bear winner Yellow Letters by İlker Çatak and Sundance winner Shame and Money by Visar Morina are already eligible. I found both films to be exceptional.

@QRomieRome PBS app is free for the new stuff they air. If you want to watch their older catalog, then a subscription might be necessary. I would recommend When the Light Breaks (Tubi) & Bang Bang (Prime) from the things added this week, but there’s plenty of promising ones I haven’t seen.
