It's been a weird 2020 for many, but the last few weeks have been extra strange for me. Passing like a flash, we bought a house & moved in, started a new job and today I passed my viva, all in time for Christmas. I am now Dr. Jess Friedersdorff, 3rd of her name, lover of phages!!

@samstudio8 Blood pressure can deviate a lot, depending on what your normal "base" is, what time of day it is, if a white coat is staring at you, you're stressed, tense or dehydrated, wind is blowing north or the day of the week ends in a 'y'. Good luck getting feeling back in your arm. 💪

@RMG_network I mean, if I'm successful at my grant application I'd love to offer to host an RMG workshop/conference event, but this won't be until 2022 or 2023. Although maybe this fits with the pandemic time scales anyway!
