My dad was all about 🎄Christmas magic🎄 to the point where he sang Christmas songs all year round. 😆 He loved, loved, loved Christmas. I miss him all the time, but especially this time of year.

I feel like dads not caring about 🎄Christmas magic🎄 is a new phenomenon bc it was always the dads showing off with Christmas lights and picking the perfect tree to chop down. Using Clark Griswold as a caricature of what dads used to be even though I don’t like him

I did the math. In my lifetime - 39 years - I have seen a total of 27” of snow. That is an average of 7/10ths of an inch every year. 11 of those inches came in a single snowfall, too. Remove that and it drops to less than 1/2” per year. Need snow.

@courtneyellis I was on the shore of Lake Superior recently and spotted three birds I'd never seen before—swans, an egret, and a pelican! It was one of the best parts of the day. 😁
