@K__Med It really is. Think of how many crypto companies exist that people verified with their drivers license. Then you apply that same thought to xbox/ps/gaming/etc where we put so much of our time and money, and it seems like such a simple solution for account issues and protection.

Microsoft DELETED my account AND OneDrive!!?? After ACKNOWLEDGING that I’m the owner of the account and that it was compromised??? 25 fucking years of data, thousands of euros spended on games?? @Seramurai_ But it will leave a lasting impression, the true only way to swing it is if they cancel, switch to the competition, and buy massive quantities of competitor software to give the competitor a burst of growth, visibly. Again, they won't do it because it is all performative.

@Seramurai_ Nintendo is also competition. These days more and more 3P games are going to Nintendo as well. Like Call of Duty as an example. A switch to a competing platform, en masse, and visible, is the only way to drive home their physical desire, but even that most likely won't work.

The amount of people “cancelling” is a dot in comparison to the casual users.
Losing them will cost them less than stopping cresting discs.

Even if its bargain bin games, demonstrate that you are willing to change teams. That is where it matters to the heads, losing a sub means nothing, seeing the competition grow does.
