1/ We’ve raised over $1B at a $26B valuation, led by @Lux_Capital, @generalcatalyst, and @8vc. Our enterprise usage has grown >10x since the start of this year, and our run-rate revenue grew to $492 M. We launched Devin two years ago as the first AI software engineer. Since then, cloud agents have gone from niche to mainstream, and today they are the fastest growing way to create software.

We need to stop sugarcoating things, telling white lies, or being deceitful in the hardware space. I think the group behind this branch is known for doing that and they get away with it because most Nigerians don't understand hardware or robotics. This local etching, ...

To the Nigerian hardware engineering community: The days of waiting weeks for foreign PCB prototypes are officially over. We’re manufacturing multi-layer boards from scratch at Omeife Robotics. Local execution = faster innovation. What are you building next? Come talk to us!

Mehn, I don't eat large portions but I love food so much. If I was unbelievably liquid, I would be traveling the world eating different meals from different chefs.

First of all, Thank you Jesus! In chasing perfection, I almost lost sight of what this means for me. It’s my first ever comic book and I’m so proud of myself! I’m grateful to everyone who supported and made this possible. God bless everyone who has ordered so far. Link is in my bio if you’ll like to grab a copy😌

Abeggg na, do their local industries supply only to their domestic market? Also the domestic market they have, how many percentage get their vehicles compared to us? You can't give what you don't have. Our domestic market can't support those local industries well.
Ozedikus Nwanne@Ozedikus

The USA imposing a 100% tariff on Chinese electric vehicles to protect its local industries seems rather reasonable, until an African country does the same thing to protect its local industry too. Watch how the criticisms & sanctions start rolling in, You quickly realize who’s really calling the shots

> be Bowie Knife99 > just a guy with an Xbox > buy Forza Horizon 6 on launch day > drive like you always do - like a lunatic > ram, swerve, and pit-maneuver strangers into walls > the Drivatar system silently records every felony > uploads an AI clone of your driving to the cloud > deploys hundreds of you into other people's races, 24/7 > within days, thousands cry about you on Reddit, X, and Steam > the community calls you "the Herobrine of Forza" > official Xbox UK tweets "Happy Bank Holiday Monday to everyone except bowie knife99" > a fan opens a fake X account in your name to taunt your victims thousands of players are at war with hundreds of clones of you. you don't know any of this is happening. happy bank holiday.
Pirat_Nation 🔴@Pirat_Nation

In Forza Horizon 6, players keep running into an extremely aggressive AI driver called Bowie Knife99. The Drivatar is known for constantly smashing into other cars, causing huge crashes and ruining races for everyone else. Even though many players find it frustrating, Bowie Knife99 has turned into a popular meme in the community and is now seen as the game’s most infamous villain.

Don't be be comparing such policies. One is a rich economy that can fully support their local market and international markets too. The other, even the eroding middle-class can't afford Chinese-manufactured-Nigerian assembled vehicles currently.

A lot of attention is paid to craft traditions in Western Europe and North America, such as handsewn Hermes leather goods and bespoke Savile Row suits. But the uneven focus leads some to believe that things made outside of these places are low quality. This is not true. 🧵

@lifeofdanel I've always been vocal about this forcing animations into live-action movies just to cash in is a terrorist idea Just leave them alone. They are best as animations.

Let me trace the timeline here because nobody's connecting it. Step 1: Scrape the entire internet. Every book, every article, every conversation, every piece of art, every forum post. Do it without asking. Do it without paying. Step 2: Train a model on all of it. Call it "artificial intelligence." Step 3: Go to BlackRock's Infrastructure Summit and announce: "We see a future where intelligence is a utility, like electricity or water, and people buy it from us on a meter." Step 3 is where you sell people's own knowledge back to them. On a meter. They took the collective output of human thought, compressed it into a model, and now they want to charge you by the token to access a version of what you and everyone you know already created. One Reddit user put it perfectly: "They stole all this data from us, the people, our life's work, creativity, art, by devouring the internet and blowing through all copyright laws. Now they want to sell it back to us in the form of a utility." Imagine if someone photocopied every book in the public library, burned the library down, and then opened a subscription service for the copies. That's the metered intelligence business model. And they're pitching it to infrastructure investors as though they invented water.
