I have been blogging for 15 years, and over that period I have handled very many complaints touching on CITAM, especially around money and how some issues are handled internally.
What I have also noticed over the years is that CITAM members tend to over-defend the church, even when serious questions are being raised.
So on this one, siwezi funzwa kazi.
CITAM is OWUOR church but with no miracles.

@NyakundiReport @ArtcaffeKenya no wonder your employees discriminate and have no happiness
English

Hello Nyakundi,
Please hide my identity. I am a staff member at Artcaffé, and we are really suffering under the current management conditions at the branch.
First, last week our PHs, off days, and leave days were deducted simply because of the matatu strike, something that was completely beyond our control as employees. It is unfair for management to punish staff for a nationwide transport crisis that affected everyone.
Secondly, the transport situation for staff working late shifts is becoming dangerous. Imagine the staff van arriving at the branch around 1:40 AM, then dropping employees along the highway at around 2 AM and leaving everyone to figure out how to get home safely on their own. This is not secure at all, especially for staff members going home at such hours.
The worst issue is the “FUNGA FUNGUA” shifts. Right now it is around 3 AM and I have just come from the PM shift, yet I am expected to wake up again at 4 AM to prepare and report back to work. We barely get any sleep. You enter the next shift already exhausted and sleepy, which is extremely risky especially in a busy restaurant environment where mistakes and accidents can easily happen because of fatigue.
We are mentally and physically drained. Some of us cannot even sleep properly because by the time you reach home, it is already time to prepare for the next shift again. This is not healthy and it is affecting staff wellbeing badly.
Another major issue is staff meals. There is no proper breakfast and sometimes no lunch at all, yet employees are expected to work long exhausting hours. Nobody seems concerned about staff welfare anymore.
Please let this reach HR because workers are really suffering. We are asking management to listen to staff concerns and improve these working conditions before things get worse.

@C_NyaKundiH While this is valid black tax is a choice and millennials have normalized it,where gen z have got it right is that they are not bound by these things and it's liberating.Millenials are sad , oppressed, depressed by things they can control like simply saying no to parents, sibs etc
English

Can we have this discussion when more Gen Zs are past 30, with families to feed, children in school, rent or mortgages to pay, ageing parents to support, medical bills appearing from nowhere, and people depending on them every morning?
The AG@amuguneAG
@C_NyaKundiH Well put Cyprian But I think this toughness the Millennials never grew up with: Cause tell me why you people are extremely humble even when you’re working in an oppressive environment? In fact, the millennials won’t have realized to stand and speak out were it not for the GenZs.

I am absolutely appalled by the remarks attributed to Governor James Orengo insinuating that women leaders attain leadership positions through sexual favours simply because they are women.
Such statements are deeply misogynistic, demeaning, and unacceptable in today’s Kenya.
Women are competent. Women are qualified. Some women are nominated, others are elected, and all equally deserve their rightful place in leadership and public service.
It is even more disturbing for anyone to suggest, proudly or otherwise, that women had to demean themselves in exchange for political access or favour. If that is what some consider “experience in politics,” then it raises painful questions about what women in leadership may have endured over the years.
This is not the spirit of inclusive leadership that many of us have fought for.
The Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga consistently championed women’s participation in leadership and believed in a democracy founded on equality, dignity, and non-discrimination. Women in politics should be judged by their ideas, competence, integrity, and service to the people; not subjected to sexist stereotypes and degrading insinuations disguised as political commentary.
We must reject politics that humiliates women or discourages young girls from aspiring to leadership.
I call for an immediate withdrawal of those remarks, a public apology, and renewed commitment from all leaders to uphold dignity and respect for women in public life.
Kenya belongs equally to women and men.
