I’ll say what I’ve said all along with Breece Hall: If #Jets sign him, cool. If Hall plays on the tag & gets traded at the deadline, also cool. Hall is a nice player, but he’s not irreplaceable. #Jets have a boatload of picks & cap space. They can get another RB if needed.

Just because something will "move the needle forward with ownership" doesn't mean he's being told what picks to make. It could just be a matter of wanting a certain player because of immediate impact that will help him keep his job, in his mind. That's not the same as demading certain players be drafted.

There’s a very real section of this fanbase that are ROOTING for this man to fail. Not being pessimistic or skeptical, but rooting for it. Why that is, I don’t know and I never will understand it, but at the very least I’m glad the guy takes some pride in this shit.
