Leo XIV says Vatican II is non-negotiable. Those two claims cannot be reconciled by another study group.
If Tradition is the rule, Vatican II must be judged by what came before it. If Vatican II is the rule, Tradition must be reinterpreted, trimmed, apologized for, and managed until it fits the new order.
That is the whole war. The SSPX profession has forced the issue with unusual clarity. It does not ask Leo to be nicer or for a better liturgical compromise. It does not ask to be one approved flavor inside a pluralistic conciliar menu. It says the faith is one, the Church is one, the truth is immutable, the Mass is sacrificial, Christ is King, false religions do not save, moral disorder cannot be blessed, and the Holy Ghost does not inspire today what He condemned yesterday. Leo’s Rome can either accept that as Catholic or condemn it as schismatic. If it condemns it, Catholics should pay attention. The condemnation would say less about the SSPX than about the men issuing it. Apostate systems always reveal themselves by what they cannot tolerate. This one can tolerate almost anything except the old Catholic faith spoken without apology.»

Visiting my frat brother in Charlotte, first thing he says when I get in the car:
“Trump really fucked up this economy.”
ME: “Says the man driving a $60,000 car to the new house he just bought.”
HIM: “That’s because Trump’s economy got me working an additional 30 to 40 hrs/week driving rideshare to keep from being homeless.”
ME: “How is it his fault you overspend? I don’t make anywhere near what you make and I’m doing fine.”
HIM: “Yeah well, you got a rich aunt.”
ME: “True, and she helps out but I live fine on what I make and I’m naturally thrifty, so Trump isn’t harming me at all. You’re a black man living in America with three cars and a home. How is Trump holding you back?”
HIM: “Well anyway, let’s not ruin your vacation with politics.”
Logic is their kryptonite.

Senator Fetterman says the old Democratic Party is DEAD. Replaced by outrageously radical candidates who want to abolish ICE, defund police, open borders, grieve dead Hamas snipers, and push full-on anti-Semitism.

They’re letting the party become a hate fest against America, the West, and our allies.
Meanwhile, President Trump is SETTING BACK Iran’s nuke program, degrading their terror machine, and keeping the pressure on. Fetterman even gives credit where due on striking the facilities and taking out leadership.
The Dem Party is purging moderates and going full radical. Fetterman’s on an island, but the American people see it.
This is why we need to keep winning BIG. No surrender to the extremists!

Tucker and his guest don’t even understand why Christ died on the cross or what it means.
Christ died for our sins. “No one takes my life from me,” Jesus said, “I lay it down of my own accord” (John 10:18).
So the whole “who killed Jesus” debate is already wrong before it starts. You can’t murder a man who chose to die. Treating the cross like a crime scene isn’t defending Christ. It’s insulting Him.
Turning the most deliberate act of love in history into a body in a ditch is not understanding what sin is, what His sacrifice was or His character is.
“The LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all” (Isaiah 53:6).
All.
No ethnicity.
No faction.
Everyone.
There is nothing more radically inclusive than Christianity.
The right response to the cross from believers is not to point fingers but get on your hands and knees and thank Him.

Two Father’s Days ago, we traveled to Charlevoix, Michigan to celebrate not only the father that my dad was, but also the one that my husband was about to be — as it was also the weekend we first told my dad I was pregnant with his first grandchild.
If someone then had told me then that, the following year, I would begin a less-than-14-month stretch of horror in which I’d lose my breasts, my cat, and my father -- let alone that my dad would die unexpectedly in the exact town where we were now celebrating, I likely would have said the exact same thing so many people say to me now: that I couldn’t imagine. But, as anyone who has been hit with tragedy knows, your previous ability to imagine something actually has no bearing on whether or not it does.
Miss you every day, Dad. Today and every day, the world is a worse place without you in it.
