Those of us on scholarships seem to almost always have a starting advantage over other students. Why? Here's one.
Just like with most scholarships, mine was tied to the condition that I would never have a CGPA below 3.5; otherwise, it would be withdrawn. So, from the get-go, I, like so many scholarship students, had something (a hell) to run away from.
In one of my Masterclass bonuses, I shared that it isn't enough to have a heaven worth striving for; you must picture a hell that you should be running from. Your fastest speed won't just be activated when you're running to earn a trophy. Try having a dog ferociously chase you from behind, and you'll be surprised by your clock time.
Lacking the motivation to take this game seriously?
Sit back and think about the consequences of not taking it seriously.
Think about the look of almost regret on your parents' faces during your convocation for spending that much on you.
Think about the moments of pride you will be depriving your mum, who raised you on her own.
Think about the agony of having your intelligence misrepresented because you never saw the need to have your grades best reflect it.
Think about the doors of opportunity that will be slammed mercilessly shut in your face because your CGPA wasn't competitive enough.
Think about having nothing to justify the four-plus years of sweat, stress, tears, and even blood.
Think about not having enough CGPA points to be moved to that course that you really wanted.
Think about living a life with no satisfaction that can only come from practicing a course you have got immense passion for.
Let the hell and the hound quicken you.

If you're pressing money to a woman who doesn't respect, idolize, or love you helplessly, you're a typical low-value man. Better to be stingy than simp with money you worked hard for in the name of accessing something under a skirt even God will be ashamed of you.
Not to mention the embarrassment you bring to your bloodline.
