Mhm haven't seen the full Morpho TBA specs, but if the fixed term loans are tokenized then the true cost of extinguishing the loan early for the borrower is the market price of the obligation. The lender willing to sell the obligation to the borrower to extinguish the debt = early repayment. Would imagine it's much easier to have more dynamic lenders willing to recycle capital vs borrowing bids

(Below is from @Morpho [TBA]) After meeting LPs and institutions who are borrowing stables against majors, I can confirm that they highly value the flexibility to repay at anytime. Thus I do think the fact that they need to pay interests for the whole duration EVEN IF they pay back the loan early will be a huge hurdle. Replying on borrowing bids could work but most borrow demand want instant liquidity. Thus there won't be much borrowing intent sitting on the book waiting to be taken. In that case, borrowers who want to repay early would need to wait for other borrowers to come and can't get the loan off the book instantly. Appreciate the team's honesty and transparency though. Yes it will only work if there is enough borrowing demand or lenders closing their position.
