@LightroomQueen Once they finally offer smart collections/smart folders/tags etc that may end up being a good enough workaround. But even Apple and Google have been resistant to that on mobile, so perhaps a technical reason why its challenging on mobile apps but not desktop apps, even though

@TechRemarker I would certainly hope so. The Camera Raw UI being updated shows which way they'd like to go with it.

@LightroomQueen Fingers crossed. As would hate for another decade to pass and the Classic UI still be frozen in time indefinitely as every other app including pro apps like Photoshop continue to update to match the latest design language and still no full mobile workflow for pros.

@TechRemarker I am not sure we'll ever see keyword hierarchy sync, that would mean adding it to LrCloud and there's lots of resistance there in this AI-based world.

@LightroomQueen Classic and LR Mobile (including hieracy keyword, etc). In meantime feels like we're in a limbo state where staying with Classic gets the dated UI and hacky approach to mobile workflow, or going all in on LR Cloud but then major workflow issues such as no keyword hierachy

@TechRemarker There was major progress initially because they only had to create a UI for all the existing Develop features. A lot of the newer Cloud features are focused more on smartphone photographers, while Classic remains focused on pro's. Hoping sync will be more stable now though.

@LightroomQueen For sure, though after this many years assuming it’s some sort of business decision / strategy not to further narrow the gap. Since at the beginning each release did as your wonderful comparison chart showed. But then stopped. So just hoping there is some sort of plan.
