@TruedawnFm Elden Ring in particular also has a brilliant solution to the "wall of hard boss" issue in that if Margit is owning you, you can go do Weeping Peninsula to level up first (or even go around Stormveil Castle Entirely). Open world done right

I'm finally playing through Elden Ring for the first time fully blind and I've hit my first wall on Margit the Fel. I figured out how to pressure his off hand in Phase 1 to avoid the dagger, but the quad sword attack in P2 keeps owning me lol

@zdch I also find that unless I play a bunch of bo3 I don't have the level 2 sideboard plans in the forefront of my brain (eg the common off-axis things midrange sides in, the bigger boomies aggro sides in) and board wrong and don't play around the right stuff until I lose a game to it

Playtested infinite Bo1, lost two games to stuff that only really comes up in Bo3. Bad process leads to bad outcomes; did very well overall this weekend but am remembering a bunch of important things that are still rusty. 2 of my 3 losses were to mistakes. Always more to improve.

@TheBoxerECG I like to pile count before each game to make sure I didn't drop and cards and sideboarded the correct number, but it's the mashes and riffles afterwards that actually randomize.

@TruedawnFm Elesh Norn then shows up with a bunch of phyrexian paneswalkers, apparently unconcerned enough to interfere before now despite the fact that a group of superheroes just decided to not destroy the multiverse for no reason. Kaito grabs Elspeth's sword and the screen fades to black

So is this just GG for the multiverse? Can a person who actually read the story and isn't just learning it through spotlight cards tell me how there are other sets after this?
