No one eats 100gm of soya in one meal. Kids at best will be given 5-6 chunks, thereby dividing the protein concentration, alu and gravy. At this point it isn't even about protein anymore. Why is a religious organization forcing vegetarianism in state where majority is meateater?
ANI@ANI

#WATCH | Kolkata | On West Bengal mid-day meal replacing egg with paneer and soybean, ISKCON Kolkata Vice President and spokesperson Radharaman Das says, "100 grams of egg contains 13 grams of protein. In contrast, 100 grams of soya chunks contains 52 to 54 grams of protein, which is significantly higher... Lentils, commonly consumed in vegetarian households, on average, contain 25 grams of protein... Paneer, which contains 22 grams of protein... I was comparing protein consumption levels across Indian states with large vegetarian populations—such as Rajasthan, where 61% of people are vegetarian, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh. Surprisingly, protein consumption is highest in these very states. Conversely, in Bengal and the Northeastern states, where meat consumption is common, protein intake is lower... It is truly unfortunate that such misinformation is being spread..." He also says, "There is a common perception that being Bengali is synonymous with eating fish and rice. But wasn't Chaitanya Mahaprabhu a Bengali? It is his Vaishnava tradition—he who is considered an ideal Bengali—that we follow through ISKCON. ISKCON's Founder-Acharya, Prabhupada, was also a Bengali who took ISKCON and the spirit of Krishna consciousness to the entire world. Today, there are 80 million vegetarians across the globe living very happy and contented lives..."

@Fatima_Z0hra Social media ne dimaag kharaab kar diya hai ladkiyon ka... I could understand this level of arrogance if they looked like a hoor pari but they're literal 2/3 out of 10s who behave as if the world owes them.

Girls, don’t fall in love with bhikhari guys no matter how much men shame you for being gold diggers. Bhikhari guys will always talk about splitting bills, economic struggles at home and job, ethanol percentage. They won’t be able to book weekend getaways, forget about holidaying in Seychelles. They will always pick chai ki thadi over aesthetic cafés, and call Starbucks overrated. These kind of guys tell you that they like no make-up look so that you cannot even dare to ask them to take you shopping. They don’t have credit cards and say stuff like “bhaiya scanner dena”. They use android phones. For them, their mother is always right. She cooks the best food in the world. She is devi pro max who had a very tough life. And they smartly try that you be like her. If you are used to a certain lifestyle, you can never compromise with a bhikhari mentality guy. Because it’s their mindset that’s the problem.

@mariaa_awd I read that the call was arranged by his friend and he wasn't aware who he was talking to. That said, it's an extremely bad look. Having worked under Pep, who's pro-Palestinian, it's disappointing to say the least.

@utdHarryy If we sell Mount, we'd be under pressure to sign a new #7. We don't want to spend money on a LW. Think Rashford is going to be re integrated back into the squad.

@bijnor2 @Pixel_Stripes @varun_oberoi @varungrover In a sanghi's mind, every ancestor of theirs was a bigarse zamindar who left bungalows and 100 bigha zameen back in Pakistan/Bangladesh. No one stops to think maybe, just maybe, our dadaji was a liar and simply telling fantastical stories to instill a sense of injustice in them.

@RavindraSathe56 @late_bloomer_7 Aaah... Pity the Prime Moron can't personally enjoy the BJs his loyal bhakts regularly give him. Standards on the floor to malign a person like RR for that uncouth, uneducated, vile pogromist who can't even spell the word "Sttength".

In 1963, an IPS Officer had a son in Bhopal. He would take his family with him during his international postings at RAW on a diplomatic visa. By age 4, the son was hearing gunfire on the streets of Jakarta during the military coup. By age 7, his school in Colombo had shut for a year because of the armed insurgency. The boy wanted to study Economics to understand why countries fell apart. But he was forced to choose engineering! In 1981, that son cracked JEE and went to study Electrical Engineering at @iitdelhi, then MBA at @IIMAhmedabad, but finally went back to his first love. Started his Economics PhD at MIT in 1987. That son is the ex RBI governor of India - Raghuram Rajan
