Ironically, structures like these are typically associated with low income residents abroad, yet in Nigeria the opposite is the case. Despite the evident neglect, deteriorating infrastructure, and overall decline, it is the high income earners who occupy these buildings, highlighting a striking contrast in how socioeconomic class and housing quality are perceived.

The only person who will lose is Chike shaa. Everybody is seeing it as just sleeping with a married woman but for someone in the kind of industry he is it’s a slippery slope. Frank is high up in the entertainment industry and his comrades see shit like this and start distancing themselves from Chike, at a point the wedding bookings will dry up cause I mean who wants you to perform at their wedding when you’ve been sleeping with a married woman, make you come sleep with my own wife abi.

They gave Ibeto, Dangote and others certification to manufacture cement, yet Ibeto went ahead to continue importing. If you don't read that story well, you'll buy into that marginalisation gimmicks. He wanted to play Obasanjo, forgetting he is ruthless, as a former military general.

Igbo people are generally bunch of imbeciles that think they know what they are doing- we don't talk about this enough. Masters of living money on the table. Any where there is a prospect for organised economic activities, that could benefit the whole group as a whole, you will hardly see us represented. It is largely the same statistics you will see across almost all the sectors of the economy. Anything that is / requires proper planning and organisation, you will never see Igbo people there. That is why our IGR has been in the gutters for years. We have seen the opposition that PN Mbah is facing for attempting to grow the IGR. We just have this non-chalant attitude of "he no concern me". We often behave as though we are full and not hungry, but in real sense we are some of the hungriest in the country. Imagine what Nkalagu cement would have done to the people of Ebonyi? Instead, we just folded our hand and allow Dangote to max out the whole market for over 25yrs, to the point that he made too much profit that allowed him to build a $20B refinery. Meanwhile Ebonyi people would go on to hawk on the streets of Lagos to irk out a living. So many things Igbo state leadership could do to make tonnes of money, but we often times behave like people that don't really care about it.
Nze@nzemmili

Mind you, people from Southeast region are not paying attention. Not one state has a cement plant, but they will listen to their leaders tell them they’re being marginalised.

@Danie_uz @chriisejike @LikeIfee @MrMekzy_ So in conclusion prayer doesn’t do anything😂😂 Just a wishful thinking. In Igbo we say “Let’s do the sacrifice so that the blame will be to the spirit”. That’s same stuff you just narrate but now the blames are on you not the spirit

Things like this really confuse me tbh, makes me honestly scared and i’m not even trying to be mischievous. This pastor heads NSPPD and a whole lot of people have gotten healed (i believe that the healings are real btw) just by being a part of it but this is the same man laying his hands directly on Alex and he still passed on. I think about this thing and it shakes my faith a lot tbh. I have so many questions because it’s genuinely confusing.

@Abujasupercars @LikeIfee @Ebenezer_Ogbu Cement plant, he didn't sustain, but he is building a prison-high-walled house in his hometown - another object for the chest-beating 'I better pass my neighbour' knuckleheads to brag about, instead of questioning his handling of a legacy company, the very first in Nigeria

@Abujasupercars @Ebenezer_Ogbu Oga he no see anything. He bought nkalagu for selfish reasons. Used it as collateral to collect millions of $$$ loans knowing fully well he has no plan of building a cement plant.

As an Igbo person I share with your sentiment. When my cousin sister died young last year I suggested a very quiet funeral, no food, no drinks, no music. My people later went against the suggestion and even did decorations 🤦‍♂️. I was so pissed off when I saw the videos. The only thing that was done differently was burying her far away from the compound

One cultural shock I noticed growing up is how different cultures handle the death of young people. In Yoruba culture, when a young person dies, everything is usually quiet and lowkey. Sometimes there won’t even be obituary graphics, they’ll just bury the person quietly. But it’s quite different in Igbo culture. God rest his soul.

My mummy will beat me, my mummy will beat me if I don't get my bucket. that was the statement that led this young lad to a drastic decision that ended his life. while the other students were chased out from school hostel to attend may devotion. he sneaked out with some of his friends, to the reservoir where his buckets reportedly fell in. he told his friends to tie his his hands. with rope so he could easily slide into and out the reservoir with his bucket, out of ignorance, they did. the rope cut because his weight is obviously heavier, and that was how he fell inside and got drowned. I wished he knew how important he was to his mum than the supposed bucket that bothered him. This death is really devastating because it is avoidable. a very reckless death that could have been avoided only if the school had a good and convenient provision of water supply. it is so unfortunate that A school as big as C.I.C enugu funded by the mission has no borehole despite their huge amount of school fees. they can afford it, if they had really paid attention to it. this is the only promising child of a parents, sent to school to study and have a brighter future, only to be brought back home in corpse. My sincere condolence to the family. it's so disheartening. © chinenye blessing
