@FieldYates If a trade is lose lose does that mean it’s win win?
English

Pretty crazy that not even 5 years later, all of the players acquired with a first round pick in this blockbuster are gone from the 49ers and Dolphins:
Trey Lance: traded in 2023
Jaylen Waddle: traded today
Tyreek Hill: released in February
Bradley Chubb: released in March
Adam Schefter@AdamSchefter
Filed to ESPN: Dolphins trading No. 3 overall pick to the San Francisco 49ers for the No. 12 pick, a 2021 third-round pick (SF’s comp pick for Robert Saleh hiring) and first-round picks in 2022 and 2023, per sources. Blockbuster deal with massive ramifications for years to come.

@ThorChiggins @Vick_8122 I’m not saying this story is true but agents will bring up other athletes salaries to gauge the market. Now because it’s wrestling idk if that’s disclosed and available to the public.
English

Nobody asks “politely” another persons salary and then demands you double it.
This is just a story. A fabrication. He starts timid, acts strong, acts humble, then acts rich. He didn’t do any of this. His manager did and then he learned how to tell a story.
I’d love to hear his story about Black Adam tanking a franchise.

@SpookByTheDooor @jpdavis1982 It's because he has the skill and what separates them is LeBron's size and strength and speed.
English

Notice how the people who pick LeBron to win a 1-on-1 against anybody, they always cite the same reasons… size and strength.
They never say anything about SKILL
LeBron is a 5-on-5 player. He would get smoked in 1’s

Marcellus Wiley says he’s picking LeBron James to beat Kobe Bryant in a pickup game . He says bron is 6’8 while Kobe is 6’6 it’s too much of a size and strength difference
English

@chatnigga101 LeBron James has a 16-6 record versus Kobe Bryant in his career.

@LikeWaughter @RenzWinford @TheWestbrookEra They won 60 games the year after that lol then Pat Bev hurt Russ first round

@AskBillyBets @NBA__Courtside Hakeem MVP b2b FMVPs 2 DPOYs. Shaq 3 straight FMVPs. KAJ 6 MVPS 2FMVP. Moses 3 MVPs 1 FMVP and didn’t even play a full career in the NBA. Jokic is one of the best ever for sure but embiid has done nothing but an MVP that didn’t gain steam til KPs racial comments.
English

@LikeWaughter @NBA__Courtside the mvp framing matters here. KAJ, shaq, hakeem were dominant every single season they played. being an elite scorer is real but it doesn't auto-upgrade the legacy.
English

Jeff Teague says if Joel Embiid had a healthy NBA career he would be the greatest center of all time:
“Like, it’s not even a joke. It would be between him and Jokic. He would be at least one or two greatest center of all time. If he was full time healthy bro, it would be a joke.”
(Via @club520podcast)
English

@RenzWinford @TheWestbrookEra He gave them a championship roster lol twice
English

@369nrizing @sneaksNDsports @TheDunkCentral @club520podcast @NBA__Courtside @ClutchPoints Yeah but that’s all speculation honestly.
English

@sneaksNDsports @TheDunkCentral @club520podcast @NBA__Courtside @ClutchPoints In Hakeem's case, it really is hard to say. Centers weren't shooters. But, he MAY have been a shooter if that was incorporated into his game. To really get perspective on it. Watch one of the videos of a healthy Embiid, 1 on 1 with Tatum. His bag wasn't even as deep then.
English

"If Joel Embiid had a healthy NBA career, he would be the greatest center of all time... It would be between him and Jokic."

@TheDunkCentral @club520podcast @NBA__Courtside @ClutchPoints “It would be between him and jokic” implies he thinks Jokic is the greatest center of all time?
English

@TheDunkCentral @club520podcast @NBA__Courtside @ClutchPoints Idk how you argue with this… when the guy is on the floor he’s unstoppable.
English

@TheDunkCentral @club520podcast @NBA__Courtside @ClutchPoints 1 MVP he begged for. No ECF appearances. No all time plays in the playoffs. No crazy runs. No records. Amazing scorer but that’s about it.
KAJ, Shaq, Hakeem, Russell, Moses Malone, Wilt all clear.
English

@SixersJustin @TheDunkCentral @club520podcast @NBA__Courtside @ClutchPoints KAJ, Hakeem, Shaq, Russell, Moses Malone, Wilt??

@NBA__Courtside "if healthy" is doing a lot of work in this sentence. we've been having this conversation about embiid for 8 years. the man has played 45 games in a season twice. the hypothetical is great. the résumé is what it is.
