Para transmitir essa mensagem de forma honesta, precisávamos colocar o público na posição de um familiar que perde alguém que ama. Eu sei o quanto amo a Rue, e o público também. Eu queria refletir esse sentimento.”

@_nahmt @becausegaly @seriesemcena Sam Levison wrote every episode of the show, and directed most of it. The character of rue was heavily based on his life experience, you can not like him but claiming the show is Zendaya's creation because she was a producer on season 2 is very silly

Hmmm, with all due respect I don't remember seeing you on set. When I was there, Kane was 100% in control. More so than many directors 3x his age.

@Ursoocupado @Cptpegasus2 @OwlLunch I recently rewatched the show and one of the criticisms I have is that the show is really obsessed with having characters call butcher evil and saying he's as bad as homelander without actually showing it? Maybe it's because homelander is comical evil but I never really bought it

@comicaccuracy It's weird because it's like embracing the source material but also making excuses for the more outlandish elements, like the little brother you have that you love but are slightly embarrassed by 🤷

@comicaccuracy I think James Gunn or perhaps Gunn trying to cater to comic fans who don't like Superman, don't understand why someone would wear a colourful a little silly costume and so overcompensate with explanations that aren't really needed, kinda like the hypno glasses

I think the “I know it’s pretty colorful. But that’s so everyone knows we’re good” line so perfectly captures the issues I have with this version of Clark. ALL of it feels like a performance.
