@TheLincoln let's use chopin as a better example. The opus 10 and opus 25 are each 12 etudes, not one piece, extremely long and difficult to learn the entire 12. in painting it's the same I'm sure although I'm less familiar with art history than music history.

Anything is up for criticism, but calling something ideological is not exactly a worthwhile criticism of people who are committed self-aware ideologues.

@bmg_jennik @bokoen1 The ussr would have allowed germany to take over the whole of europe and would not have even flinched. The ussr only went to war after they themselves were attacked, britain and france defended poland. Appeasement was not seen as stupid back then, looking at it now it obvi was.

The USSR literally signed a secret treaty dividing Europe between them and the Nazis. They then proceeded to invade Poland along side them and funded the Nazi war machine for 2 years before they themselves were attacked by the Nazis. Meanwhile Britain fought tooth and nail.
