As part of our efforts to help with the #water situation, City Power will not loadshed Brixton (Hursthill) and Crosby Towers to allow @JHB_Water reservoirs to recover after two weeks of interruptions. @Rand_Water supply is stabilized, and is not affected by #loadshedding.

@CityPowerJhb I highly doubt a team is on site for 5 hours in this cold, IF they were surely they must have an update or ETR by now??

@CityPowerJhb Every time there's loadshedding we end up with a power outage that last for hours on end. Perhaps @CityPowerJhb should exclude us from loadshedding until you've enabled the power station to handle this on and off. I presume there won't be loadshedding tomorrow for us?

@LilMisLala @CityPowerJhb @LilMisLala that is a Huge ask, as @CityPowerJhb & @Eskom_SA don’t even know how to flip a switch to turn electricity on...they somehow know how to flip the switch and turn the power off, and earn money whilst we, paying citizens, sit in the dark on cold nights!!!

@CityPowerJhb Ok so just gone back to site. All work has been completed. A city power guy called Thabo has to come to turn everything on. Apparently he will be at the substation at 6pm

#JoburgUpdates #BryanstonOutage Technicians are on site attending to an outage in the area. We are unable to backfeed due to existing fault. Power will remain off until repairs are completed. We truly apologise for any inconvenience caused.^LP

@CityPowerJhb @Eskom_SA maybe get the "switch flicker" the same loadshedding schedule as the rest of us. Now without power, with no warning. Bryanston East 2B. Ffs man.
