Mr Mehlo assured the delegation from @Our_DA that continuous water quality checks are carried out and aligned with SANS 241 standards, while also benchmarking against international standards such as the World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines to ensure safe potable water. [NS]

Rand Water’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) Mr Mahlomola Mehlo, delivered an overview of Rand Water’s systems and operations, outlining the water value chain from raw water abstraction and purification to storage, distribution, and supply to municipalities. [NS]

This morning, Rand Water welcomed @Our_DA's delegation at its Headquarters, led by Mr Stephen Moore (MP), Member of Portfolio Committee on Water and Sanitation for a comprehensive briefing on the organisation’s infrastructure, regulatory framework, and operational processes. [NS]

@MosaiSipho_ Mr @MosaiSipho_ also addressed the common confusion over water supply roles, noting that municipalities are responsible for providing water & sanitation services to communities, while Rand Water supplies bulk water through commercial agreements under the Water Services Act. [NS]

The Group Chief Executive of Rand Water @MosaiSipho_ took to the podium to share the organisation’s strategic objectives and key priorities. He emphasised that financial sustainability is critical to ensuring Rand Water continues to maintain and upgrade its infrastructure. [NS]
