the backlash showcased most people willingly didn't renew their premium and many openly stated they won't be buying it. so they used the delay to try to keep people paranoid and on the fence about premium

Roblox has extended the March 20th deadline to July 31st.
If you do not have Premium 1000/2200 by August, Roblox will delist your 2D items from the marketplace.

Roblox will require users to have an active 1000 or 2200 Premium subscription to publish 2D clothing. By March 20th, if the item uploader does not have Premium, Roblox will put the item off-sale and delist the item from the marketplace.

Roblox has extended the deadline for retaining 2D items on sale from March 20th to July 31st.
2D items that do not meet the Premium criteria will be placed off-sale effective August 1st.

Publishing 2D clothing on Roblox now requires an active Premium 1000 or 2200 subscription to sell items or keep them on sale. This means that 2D clothing from inactive creators like 1blox, Tophthetomboy, etc. will soon go off-sale.
