Overdressing no longer impresses Americans, as they understand that truly wealthy people often dress down. Conversely, Mexicans are easily impressed by status symbols and tend to look down on well off people who dress casually.

Mexico tests your patience sometimes lol 😆 I heard about a sonido (dance) today in Mexico City One advertisement listed it as starting at 10 AM and another at 11 AM I showed up at 12 Place was dead 💀 "When does the sonido start?" I ask "12:30" he says It's now 12:30 There's a family next to me waiting also Kinda awkward actually cuz they brought their kids who don't look older than 12 And the kids are drinking beer 🍺 The bartender lady says "how barbarous" to them drinking "They either learn with us or in school haha" says the dad Still no DJ in sight Looks like they will be starting at minimum 2 to 3 hours late (depending on how you count) Maybe 4. Who knows lol 😴
