Last week, Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness welcomed World Bank Group Vice President, Susana Cordeiro Guerra for high-level discussions on Jamaica’s recovery and reconstruction efforts following Hurricane Melissa.

Today, I’m pleased to announce the launch of supportjamaica.gov.jm, the Government of Jamaica’s official platform to coordinate relief, mobilize support, and manage recovery efforts in the wake of Hurricane Melissa. The site allows users to donate securely, submit pledges, report emergencies, and locate nearby shelters. It is designed to serve Jamaicans at home and abroad who wish to assist with national recovery efforts. We’re on our way to #IDA21 in #Seoul! We recently had the 4th @WBG_IDA replenishment meeting in our @WorldBank HQs, where we have steadily built and refined the policy package for #IDA21. An ambitious replenishment will support the future of people and the planet.
