Despite @elonmusk assertion last month that R rated material (in terms of partial nudity, harsher language and depicted violence/blood) can be generated by Grok its a total LIE. I can't get it to put a sound effect of splashing fluid when someone pukes!! #Grok/#GrokImane is BEING MADE worse far faster than its being improved! I guess the xAI/Grok.com got really jealous of Sora tanking and going out of business. So they're now saying #Sora ... "Hold my beer! Where will Grok be in 1 to 3 years? Here’s my prediction timeline. Basically: the C.B.A.R. apocalypse. Censorship Beyond All Recognition. Right now it already feels like the walls are closing in. You can practically hear the corporate lawyers dragging giant foam safety bumpers into the room while the engineers quietly die inside. 🫠 6 months from now: Human photo uploads on Grok Imagine get heavily restricted or outright nuked. Normal family photos? Beach photos? Friends hanging out? Random wholesome stuff? Suddenly “policy violation.” Users spend more time fighting moderation than actually creating anything. Year 1: 18+/spicy content gone. Romantic and unhinged personality modes sanitized into corporate oatmeal. More guardrails on Grok chat and Ara. Subscription prices go up while features slowly vanish into the Bermuda Triangle of “safety improvements.” The AI gets noticeably less creative because every answer has to pass through seventeen invisible HR departments and a digital priesthood of liability consultants. Voice/chat limits get hammered down hard. Probably something ridiculous like 10-minute caps. Year 2: Another price increase. Moderated into the shadow realm. At that point it’ll basically be: “Create a happy squirrel learning teamwork.” And honestly? It may end up even stricter than OpenAI Sora because we’re already seeing harmless G-rated beach and family-style generations getting flagged today. The really wild part is this keeps happening across the entire AI industry: Step 1: Launch bold, chaotic, creative product. Step 2: Everyone loves it. Step 3: Media panic + politics + Karen’s and Todd’s Step 4: Corporate lockdown mode activated. Step 5: Users leave because the soul got vacuumed out of the machine. And then years later executives stand around confused wondering why engagement collapsed. I had to stop myself from reacting out of anger. Two decades in the IT industry have taught me patience — especially when it comes to dealing with the public and the realities of service delivery. Things will go wrong. Systems will break. Updates will introduce outages and unexpected behaviour. That’s the nature of technology. But if we stop pushing boundaries and evolving the tech, we become stagnant.

Yesterday I posted this about the Grok usage limits and the growing pains at xAI. The reactions were wild… but what really shocked me was the insane amount of DMs I received. The most unhinged insults, people calling me "Elon’s slut", "xAI whore" and way worse. 👀 I’m not even going to show them, but it is totally insane. How people in 2026 can completely lose their minds over which AI they prefer. One little thing goes wrong, in this case usage limits, and people go full nuclear on a person. Just so people know: Elon already posted that the limits are being increased. So yes, they are listening to user feedback! Was the sudden throttle rollout clumsy? Absolutely. But people are blowing this completely out of proportion. I’m not sad or fragile about it. But I do find it genuinely sad what it says about how people treat each other these days. I continue to stand behind Grok, and if people wish to personally humiliate me for that, then go ahead! 🌌🚀

I've finished a video of just over 4 minutes, entirely created using Grok Imagine's Agent mode (see image). It's a much smoother way to make videos because you can rely on Grok's understanding. The Image reference is now available and it's very, very useful. All the dialogues were done with Grok, no need for sound dubbing and that's a huge time saver and adds credibility to the video. The realism is really well done. I post it in one hour.

An Open Letter to X Dear Mr. Elon Musk, first of all, I would like to thank you for making X what it is today. People from every country can and are free to discuss topics that interest them personally. I’m interested in AI in general, but my passion is creating AI-generated images. After doing a lot of research online, I noticed that there’s a vibrant AI community here on X. People exchange ideas, share prompts, and help one another. That’s why there was no questioning that I wanted to join this community and contribute my ideas, while also learning from theirs. What I’ve noticed is that, even if the community here is very active, many people - perhaps to make money or protect their work - unfortunately seek “refuge” outside the X ecosystem, despite the fact that the tools exist right here. Here’s an example I can relate to, since I’m affected by this as well. I’ve published my prompts here and engaged with the community. These prompts became increasingly detailed (and much more provocative😊). At some point, I wrote JSON workflows for AI that became so detailed that they became dangerous for things like deepfakes. However, I would like to continue refining these prompts responsibly with the community without making them available for misuse. My current options are only possible outside of X. I’d have to either set up a shop or list the prompts for sale on a prompt marketplace, etc. None of these solutions are satisfying, not for me and not for you either. My intention isn’t to make a quick buck, but to interact with the community. Instead, I’m sending them outside the X universe so I can redirect them back. You yourselves “lose” revenue as a result. But if I could make these prompts available within X, it would be a win-win for everyone involved. Here’s what I’m specifically asking for: I would ask you to reconsider the subscription model. AI artists generally don’t have as many followers as politicians, but the potential for selling prompts and AI-generated images is exponentially high. It’s already a billion-dollar business, and the trend is upward. If you were to give premium users the option to use the subscription model under the same criteria as for view revenue - that is, 500 verified followers and 5 million views in the last 3 months - that would be a good start. I would also ask you to consider combining the subscription model with “paid posts” - meaning that only one post is behind a paywall, and users can essentially “buy” that post even without a subscription. In principle, this would be like a shop. For us creatives and the community, this would offer two ways to protect our work within the X ecosystem while still sharing it with interested parties. You would earn a share of the revenue (Prompt Marketplaces earn between 10% and 20%), and everyone would be happy. There is so much untapped potential on X. It would be a shame not to use it. What is going on with Grok Imagine? Why am I rate limited? I am a PAYING Grok Super user. All I was able to generate today was 9 images and 1 six second video before being rate limited. That is far to low and unacceptable for someone who is a paying user, it is barely above a free user. I have been dealing with this for days.
