I didn’t buy an EV for environmental reasons. I purchased a Tesla because it's safe, offers quiet operation, reduced maintenance, home refueling, and a smooth, powerful drivetrain that blows your mind. And let’s not overlook the fact that it can drive itself. The government should not pick winners and losers when it comes to drive trains; the free market should, and the transition to EVs will happen regardless.
