🇲🇾 PRX d4v41: "I took extra hours learning about VIT's playstyle a little bit, especially this time because I saw Chronicle said to us that we are scared to pick them. So just because of that, it made me want to study them harder.
Other than that, they're very experienced players like Derke and Chronicle, so it's always nice being able to beat this kind of player.
The annoying part about them is probably the EU play style. Very slow, makes me fall asleep. But yeah, they're a very good team."

@AnderzzTV W self plug. Also that was probably the best viper breeze performances ive seen in a while
English

Massive nod - PRX used a beautiful variety of Viper util on their Breeze abiding by one of my golden rules of Viper theory: "either use a single set of viper util per half and properly condition it, or change it up nearly every round so the conditioning is moot."
PRX went for the prior approach on their attack using the 3-way orb and optimal A slice. But on their def went for the latter, swapping between basically every high-success wall we've seen across the VCT regions.
Shameless self plug - through both halves, that variety included every piece of Viper util in my last Breeze Patreon playbook including the unique pieces I've seen no one else use

@statsmeisterVLR Another undeserved Top 3 finish. Shit ass team carried by luck and hero plays

@valynfps @G2VALORANT Sounds like an excuse after laughing at xlg when you picked them and then proceeded to get your ass kicked but hey not surprising considering you guys always choke at internationals

London is over for us.
We struggled to get into the game and we paid dearly for it.
A huge thank you to all the fans who have been supporting us at the London stage, it means the world to us. See you at EWC 💜

@valesportsna staff and management, these international results are due to your bad scheduling of Stage 1. REMEMBER THIS.

@krunchyteeths @VALO2ASIA @zhobiiiii Still better than most teams who cant even get to an international grand finals

🇨🇳 EDG ZmjjKK on whether he felt pressure facing FUT duelists s0pp and xeus:
"I think they gave us a lot of pressure in the match, but maybe they don't know who I am. I'm the 2024 world champion!"

That's a pretty big hit 💥
Here's the moment Leclerc's qualifying came to an end 🎥

Imagine being NRG in this event.
#1 - The timezone change with just a few days to adjust is pretty brutal, especially when EWC was at 9:00 PST at its latest.
Example: In NA for optimal performance starting at 5 PM PST: you would wake up 12:00 PM PST. This is the same as waking up at 8:00 PM in london (8 hour difference)
So within a few days, they had to do a complete 180 on the sleep schedule, fly across the world, get everything set up and catch up on sleep etc. Just in terms of performance this is just far from optimal.
#2 - No time to adjust to the new meta
With the meta completely changing, no time to prep new ideas comps etc. Literally 3-5 prac days at max to do so, you cannot prep 6-7 maps in 3-5 days of practice so any big changes are just dice rolls. LEV was in a similar situation which is probably why they got anti-d so hard in some rounds.
#3 - Every team that was not playing recently had maximum time to change how they are playing, create new ideas for pistols, bonus, r3s etc. Or just adjusting basic macro, NRG having no time means every single VOD they have is going to show alot of the gameplan making them super easy to counter.
Its not end all be all, but genuinely a nightmare scenario to go into a masters with a nerfed performance individually just based on that timezone shift, a complete meta change & no time to prep anything.

@TheDunkCentral @BrandonRahbar Teams dont have unlimited challenges also theres no point challenging when sga flops the whole game. Sam Presti should stick to finding a replacement for Mr. 4PointsInAGame7
English

Sam Presti just fired back at SGA critics with some eye-opening numbers:
He drew 415 fouls this season.
Only 11 were challenged.
Only 4 were overturned.

@ValorantUpdated No point having a ban system this is a tac shooter not a moba, for pro play maybe but definitely not for everything else. A map vote system would be great tho
