For the sake of full transparency, this was my ballot for Mr. Basketball. 1. Cameron Elwer 2. Marcus Johnson 3. Gator Nichols My logic: Averages slightly favor Johnson but percentages and team success favored Elwer. Regardless of division, I just couldn't ignore DSJ being 27-0.

BREAKING: Per the OPSMA, Marcus Johnson of Garfield Heights is Ohio's Mr. Basketball for the second straight season. Cameron Elwer of Delphos St. John's is also the runner-up again this season after Johnson received 99 votes, compared to 91 points for Elwer.

At the town hall meeting, attendees were given the opportunity to vote on whether they wanted Parkway to stay in the MAC. Superintendent Laura Young said there were 122 votes for yes and 0 in favor of a move to the Northwest Conference.
