This is how people disappear in this country.
This man claiming to be a police officer pulled a gun on me and said he would shoot me point blank that nobody would ever find my body.
Let that sink in!
All because I asked him to properly identify himself. No uniform. No badge. Nothing to show he was actually an officer and this was his response.
So asking basic questions now deserves a death threat?
@PoliceNG_CRU this is the kind of officer you have on the streets terrorizing innocent people. He is a ticking time bomb.

this particular man is a menace! he often threaten guys with “ we go incriminate you and nothing go happen” they operate along festac/satellite axis. the day i was going out, they stopped our bolt and forcefully took me to the same corner for a search. they almost beat and cuff me cos i stood on my right, i was roughed up and my clothes got dirty. his partner opened my WhatsApp and searched for fraud related words. at the end, they extorted me of 15k. i reported the issue to @PoliceNG_CRU and was refered to the SO, and my money got refunded. my question is , how are these guys still operating on the highway even after reporting to the CRU and SO. @PoliceNG_CRU @LagosPoliceNG @TunjiDisu1

This guy was the most dangerous out of all of them.
He pointed a gun at me and kept threatening me like my life meant nothing. He’s the same one that hit me with the gun, shocked my body, beat me, and even slapped me from behind when I didn’t see it coming.
Out of everyone there, he was the most aggressive. The most dangerous.

I really hope this video goes viral and the Nigeria Police Force sees this and does something about it. This happened in Abulado, Lagos. Me and my guy @ehispascal were on a bike when four officers stopped us. We came down peacefully, no issues at all. One officer was talking to me, another to my guy. Everything was calm. They were asking questions and we answered calmly because we had nothing to hide. They asked me to open my phone, and I didn’t hesitate because I didn’t want any problem. Suddenly, out of nowhere, one man came from behind and slapped me. Even the officer checking my phone was shocked and asked what just happened. At that moment, I didn’t even know he was a police officer because he wasn’t in uniform. Out of anger, I reacted and slapped him back and even tried to confront him. That’s when the others held me and told me he was an officer. That’s when I realized everything was already planned. Next thing, all of them started beating us. It was bad. My guy’s face even got swollen. They then threatened to take us to the station. I told them no problem, let’s go, but the officer who slapped me must come along too. I told them when we get to the station, they would know who my father is. They kept asking for his name, but I refused and said they would find out at the station. That’s when they got scared. Instead of taking us to the station, they drove us to a bridge, dropped us there, and told us to go.

Upon my return to Abuja, I was parked by a soldier on duty who asked where I was heading, and I mentioned FCT. He politely asked if could lift one of his colleagues to Abuja, and I said it was fine.
When I was few meters close to Giri junction, I asked the officer his route, he was heading to Zuba while I was going through Lugbe axis to the town. I told him Zuba isn’t far. Transport is around 2-300 Naira.
I asked if he was going to stop there(Zuba), or he was heading somewhere. He then told me he was going home to see for the first time after 10 months, his newly born twins. No permission was granted over the period. Sadly, he had to make the compulsory trip because his wife had called that one of the babies had died. And she urged him to come see the other twin in case he will die too.
I asked him why he didn’t leave earlier than he left. He replied that he waited with the hope that salaries will be paid, since today is second, but it wasn’t, unfortunately. How then do you intend to make it, I asked him. He showed me all the money he had on him –4,500 which wasn’t even enough to get him to his destination.
I could not help than give him 20k and I took his phone number, giving him my words that I will call to get information about the sick baby.
I want to ask a question, please 🙏🏻

Whoever recorded this video is an example of a terrible citizen though informed. And i wish there was some sort of legal implications for people like this.
He is aware of the existence of Ogun State ambulance services (two ambulance in 4-7mins distance to that place), he knew they could be called to action, yet his primary concern is that he captured the moment on video.
People should learn to condemn idiots like this and prioritize human lives over tik-tok viral moments.
In this situation, i would have parked and called an ambulance instantly.
What a shame. I hope the people are okay?
