@EastMidRailway I’ve just boarded the 16:32 from St P to Sheffield and I don’t think I have ever had a train manager give so many clear instructions as Graham the train manager. Next level efficient! There shouldn’t be any passenger that doesn’t know the regulations. Well done!

@MartinSLewis @EastMidRailway Sheff to St P train. Already like this at my stop at 08:40. Can’t even get to my seat. Now stood 1.5hrs to St P when I am supposed be working hence booking a seat with a table. Another 100 people on at LB and not at Leicester yet! Absolutely disgusting. Is this not a H&S hazard?

Dear @EastMidRailway this train (Ldn - Sheffield) is disgraceful. Every seat taken, every standing space taken, scores sitting in mid train corridors so I guess 500 people on it and ONLY ONE WORKING TOILET at one end, so people must crawl over each 100s to reach it. It's degrading, like something from the 19th century. PS and as I walked to the loo, apologising profusely, a number of people asked me to say something publicly about it. One of the reasons for this tweet.

@andrewmcoward @EastMidRailway Totally this. Boarding five minutes and sometimes three minutes before departure causes a lot of stress and scrambling especially when the train is sat there and people have been queuing to board at the gate for over 15mins!

@EastMidRailway Perhaps you could let passengers board their trains with a bit more than five minutes before departure. St Pancras is always far more chaotic than it needs to be.

@EastMidRailway quality seating on the @StPancrasInt to Sheffield train this afternoon on the 16:32! Absolutely shocking! I’ve paid £55.50 for this luxury seating! Thank goodness you don’t charge booking fees eh!

@HM_Passport Hi. I need to travel to Amsterdam on 5th Feb 24. I have a UK PP. Can I travel as the expiry date is May 24 however, the issue date is March 14. I believe a rule was changed meaning additional months added to a passport don’t count? I can’t find the answer online anywhere. Thx.

I was just asked "I've recently received a high income benefit child benefit charge. I earn £53k my wife £12.5k. Yet I've read if we both earned £49k, we wouldn't have received the charge . How is that fair?" That's correct. Sadly the answer is simple. It isn't fair.
