Back on Sunday. Having more surgery soon, so need to get packed, and ready it’s my 8th surgery since November 2024, so see you Sunday when I’m back home recovering. If I’m not back by 0900 hrs on Sunday 29th March 2026 GMT you’ll know it went dreadfully wrong and I’m almost certainly brown bread. Just my bloody luck! Until then have wonderful life.

🚨DERANGED: RAF Illegally BLOCKED 160+ White Male Pilots to Boost Diversity — MoD Confirms “This is one of the craziest decisions ever made by any branch of the British state ever!” The RAF literally paused hiring white men, preferring to recruit NO ONE over a qualified white male pilot, all to hit woke diversity quotas for women & ethnic minorities. A senior female recruitment officer resigned in protest, calling it illegal & immoral. MoD inquiry confirmed: it WAS unlawful positive discrimination. Over 160 male pilots had training suspended. 31 got compensation. This is deranged. Putting ideology before competence doesn’t make our military stronger, it puts national security at risk.

Huh? A secondary school in Greater Manchester has banned 200 books from its library because they were inappropriate for children. Including the Da Vinci Code and even Alan Rickman’s autobiography. Then they reported the librarian to authorities as a safeguarding risk 🤡

Rumours are growing that Rupert Lowe and Nigel Farage could be preparing to join forces. If true, this would mark one of the most significant political shifts in recent years. A united front, a stronger voice.

Eldest daughter now needs a 24 hr heart monitor, and in 2 days a camera into her lung. They are leaning more towards her having a sarcoid than cancer (she's high risk having had cancer before), but nothing they can do until It develops into full blown sarcoidosis..

As a young man I retained a sense that Britain was run by grown-ups, politicians and civil servants capable of making tough choices when required. I cannot believe they would, for instance, have allowed the situation we are now in, where a malevolent regime like the Iranian mullahs might have ballistic missiles capable of striking the UK, which we cannot shoot down. This has been coming for years, and yet - for reasons of cost or strategic neglect - Britain has no missile shield. The technology exists and several other Western nations are developing or deploying it. We have fallen behind in the most basic, profound and existential sense. Time was when such an epiphany would’ve resulted in drastic action. But there is absolutely no sense that our current crop of Labour MPs grasp what’s at stake. Many of us are resigned to managed decline. But this is something worse. In years to come we risk growing ever more vulnerable to hostile powers who wish us harm, and have the wherewithal to visit death at will to almost any part of our once impregnable island. The situation is not irremediable. The money could be found. Hard choices could be made which wouldn’t further drain the country of brains, talent and ambition. But our current Government will pass the chalice and waste years in the process. This goes way beyond party political point-scoring, because this is a failure that is a stain on our entire leadership class. Some will say nothing has changed: the Soviets threatened us with nuclear annihilation for decades. True. But they cleaved to a grim logic of deterrence. The world we are entering is one where truly rogue actors, who don’t care if we respond in kind, may already be capable of destroying the village, town or city where you and yours live. This is new. And our children will reap the whirlwind of our indolence and indecision.

@Lindstar24 @ColinBrazierTV @HHelenakhl I believe you’re 100% right Politics is clearly a risky occupation. Consequently they exercise their power for themselves not for us. Starmer is a case in point. He’s failing badly but he is hanging on, for him. We probably need a different system for a different world

@KevRs_UK @ColinBrazierTV But it’s only recently come to light for many people. Now, there’s an undercurrent of alarm as we wait for the next disclosure regarding our vulnerability

@ColinBrazierTV I always had the presumption we had air defences, atleast over sensitive sites. To find we have absolutely nothing is quite a shock. It shouldn't be I suppose, seeing the govts approach to migration in recent decades; our safety is pretty much their last priority.

@Jonny7Jonny7 @ColinBrazierTV @HHelenakhl Their main focus is to make as much money as they can while they’re in power. We give them the chance to become millionaires. When they leave govt they waltz off into the sunset leaving the country in a state of chaos. Who will save us ?

@ColinBrazierTV @HHelenakhl Yes. Our politicians have spent decades playing politics amongst themselves rather than exercising politics for the benefit of Britain. It’s a game to them. It’s existential to us.

Please leave the LGB out of this. We didn’t ask for this. We’re not vulnerable, or fragile. Nor do we need coddling. Most of us are highly resilient, & just want equality. We’ve been through much rougher times. If you mean the TQ+, just say so. Treat us EQUALLY. Thx.
