And now I’m here. I got up really early and watched the sun rise over the New Forest and here I am watching it set. It actually blows my mind that I’ve stood and watched both today and another day nearly over. A beautiful day.

Breakfast is served. The last breakfast before flying home. I shall sit and soak up the sun and ponder whether my local caff in Hackney, London, could put a poster of this view on their wall, so I can sit and imagine I’m still here.

And now I’m here, sitting outside at the Buza Bar in Dubrovnik, having a beer and watching the sun set. Taken on my iPhone and unedited as I look across the sea, beer in hand. Dubrovnik: you have been really rather perfect. Cheers 🍻

Back in my suite (I’m not sure I can ever go back to just having a room in a hotel) and stood on the private terrace looking out across the sea and the islands of Dubrovnik, with the incredible moon lighting the scene perfectly.

Dinner is served! I’m home and cooking. Pork, vegetables, pasta, arrabbiata chilli tomato sauce and a touch of seasoning. Served on my boat in a handmade British bowl. If I say so myself; it’s blooming delicious.

My perfect granddaughter and I. Twenty nine years ago, I was in a hospital holding her Mum like this. I don’t look a day older than I did back then.

@London_W4 Four clocks!!!! We have 6 clocks, 3 radios and our watches, I wonder what the time is. 😂🤦‍♀️Needless to say my husband likes clocks and radios!!,,,

Sitting in my armchair at home now, recreating the evenings we used to have as kids in the 70s when there was a power cut and my Mum would get the candles out. Was a wonderful adventure back then. Tonight, I’m using a battery powered candle. Well, it is 2026 you know

Just had news from the hospital: my eldest daughter has just had a baby. One is now a Grandad. I’ll drink to that! Cheers 🍻

For all my dear Twitter pals who are stuck inside today, come walking at Felbrigg Hall with me in the winter sunshine this morning. It’s a warm day in Norfolk. The birds are singing and the trees feel like a hug around us.

@London_W4 My brother in law used to live in Warsash and had his boat there so we used to sail to Lymington and go to Hamble le Rice. Those days are past now as he lives in Malta and has sold his boat.

And now I’m here in one of my favourite villages. The gorgeous Hamble le Rice. Beautiful cottages, three good pubs and of course, boats. Lots and lots of wonderful boats.

Hello, it is the actual banker. It’s not a producer on the end of the phone. I’ve been told he does the show and leaves and I have never met him. I don’t even know if he’s in the same building!
