Die Abgase der Flugzeuge enthalten Rußpartikel. Die können dafür sorgen, dass sich zusätzlich Wolken bilden, die den Treibhauseffekt verstärken. Auch, wenn Flugzeuge sparsamer werden oder irgendwann mit CO2-neutralen Treibstoffen fliegen – dieses Problem bleibt bestehen.
