@engineering_bae The head nods make all the difference. I remember a talk I gave 2 years ago (didn’t feel that comfortable in public speaking yet), and @Linus_Borg was in one of the first rows, just nodding (not sure if consciously or not). That made the whole difference for me 😁

As a 10-year old framework, @vuejs increased in *both adoption and positivity* in the latest State of JS survey. And it's going to keep getting better!

@jpschroeder @TheAlexLichter I have to agree, on the grand scale. It's just that people who contribute (or at least those who maintain) likely don't fund as they are themselves looking for funds 😅

How are *you* (yes you) helping to fund open source? Please be honest, it’s anonymous.

@TweetsOfSumit Head&Shoulders is just crap. I switched to something proper (Glint Derma) a while ago and have awesome results.

Had dandruff my whole life until I read on Reddit to simply stop using shampoo (instead of using stuff like "Head & Shoulders" every day). It worked. No dandruff anymore. I shower daily but for my hair, I only use shampoo once a month and conditioner once a week.

@rphlmr @ryanflorence In english "having doubts" about something usually comes with connotations of fear, regret or second guessing a choice. I.e. If you're having doubts about your marriage you are not seeking knowledge about it, but are unsure wether marrying your wife was the right choice.

What do people mean when asking for help and they say “doubt”? > hey 👋 I have a doubt about remix, how do I …? Is this from a different language where the literal translation to English is a little off?

Ok, I have to admit using @vuejs composition API inside <script setup> is much more enjoyable than in the setup() hook. I did not expect that this little change would make such a difference.

@TweetsOfSumit 100% Composition API. - It allows me to write (and read!) my code in a logical flow. - Code reuse is easy with normal functions - ...which in turn allows me to write high-level logic in my component while all the intermediate state etc. can be tucked away in a composable

Idk man, who is a fan of vue's composition API? I seriously would like to understand what I miss. Anytime I use it, I feel like it's a step back in convenience, design, and structure/order. Always messy and more code to write. 🤔 What do I miss?

Update: Had my brain surgery follow-up. We went over the pathology report and took out my 61 sutures. The absence of seizures over the last 15 days is incredibly encouraging to my neuro team. Pathology’s report about the 3cm^3 of excised gray matter showed a small number of irregular cells. The neurosurgeon is not able to point to a specific reason for these cells. The presence of those cells DOES confirm we took out the correct area. The low count of irregular cells does not give any strong indication or contraindication of cancer or other degenerative diseases. There was also the presence of scarring and some “architectural issues”. It is not possible to know if the scarring was caused by the sEEG when they put the probes in. Essentially, the root cause of why I became epileptic at 19 and began having seizures is unknown, and the only thing to do to confirm that my brain is overall healthy is to wait for the absence of continued seizures over my lifetime. The first big milestone will be 3 months seizure-free. The next at 6 months. The next at 1 year and then 2 years with MRIs and testing along the way.

The “fix it” surgery for my seizures is tomorrow morning. It’s a right side craniotomy with a resection in my right temporal lobe. I have a 5:30-6AM EST arrival time. The anxiety has calmed. I’m quite happy and spent the time I wanted to with the people I love.
