Fun finding of the day... Every Amiga Raemixx 500 motherboard I can find photos of has a hardware assembly fault which breaks Zorro compatibility. And it might be partly my fault. I'll be writing up everything later this week.

@LinuxJedi @Gammitin The V20 has an 8-bit bus, making it easy to redesign from an 8-bit machine, but it's probably not pin-compatible... The memory address space is 64KB for the i8080 and 1MB for the V20.

NEC V30 processor family is pin-compatible with 8086, runs at the same speed as the 8086, but can be 10 to 30% faster. It emulates all the 8080 instructions and also includes all 8086/8088/80186/80188 CPU instructions natively. It was manufactured by: 🔵NEC 🔵Sony 🔵Sharp 🔵Zilog

Does anyone else get these weird promoted tweets with a nonsensical caption and picture of Robert Peston?

@RetroTechChris I wish we had something like that in the UK, but it would be dangerous, it would take so much will power to resist

Wherever there is a new computer, embedded or not, someone asks if you can run Doom on it. Last year I created the @wolfSSL wolfDemo board. Today I managed to get Doom running on it. There is no sound, so the LEDs act like a VU meter for the sound effects.

@AllanAust @wolfSSL If it makes you feel any better, I did some optimisation work this morning and now it runs at ~32 FPS peak (that recording was ~20 FPS peak). Also, my first PC was nowhere near capable of running Doom, and my second PC could only just run it 🙂

@jessfraz This is me everyday. Our British variant of English can be even more complicated at times. It isn’t logical and therefore breaks me.

You know you are so fucking far from the actual spelling when even auto correct gives up.

@tonywarriner I’ve had like 3 copies over the years and they end up going missing. I don’t think I have one now.

@arekfurt @moyix Yes, we have PoC code. I did not work on this one personally, so I don't know for sure if the PoC came from Mythos or our engineers.

@LinuxJedi @moyix A question, if you are able/allowed to answer it: Regarding the critical vuln: Was Mythos, or anything/anyone else, able to produce a successful proof of concept attack?

WolfSSL has extensive CI testing, fuzzing, static analysis tooling, their own internal AI-based static analysis tooling, code review, and spends thousands per month testing with Opus and other models. Despite all that, Mythos apparently found 8 CVEs missed by everything else.

One of my colleagues named a feature in one of our AI scanning tools "Claudex". It sounds like a window cleaning chemical, but the description is: "Run Claude + Codex in parallel, then synthesize with Claude" I love it! 😁
