@WeaselsOnEasels As someone who inherited a large chunk of my fur collection from makers who no longer make suits, I feel this. The best answer I can give folks is that it is likely from dead stock, LA fashion district or local fabric shops amongst the usual sources.

This is maybe a hot take here, but it's not gate keeping for makers to not tell you where their fur came from. Most 5+ year makers I know have a "hoard" or "stash" and have no idea where they got most of their furs. I couldn't tell you where most of ours are from!
