"CatDog" was an actual industry plant from Nick, it had 100 episodes greenlit, a theatrical short in front of the first Rugrats film, and cameos on game shows
It's funny beacuse they didn't had any faith in Spongebob but they had more on CatDog according a former Nick Dev Exec

Carnival cruise lines had their little duck mascot wandering around the pool deck and I was just shouted at by the photographer for taking a picture. No pictures of fun allowed unless they get their $$$. Nickel and dimeing is a thing, but that one kind of shocked me.
