@trad_west_ Just wait until people realize you will have to memorize and perform the prayers from memory in Lionhearts.

One of the redeeming qualities of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, is that when the player prays at a shrine, cross, or chapel, the prayer must be completed fully for it to count. The game requires you to watch the animation that lasts 1–2 minutes, without skipping or interrupting, to activate buffs, that is, the prayer only counts if you listen to/watch it entirely. Sure they have some stuff in the game that shouldn't be there but this is pretty cool

Video games should add to your life... not take away from it. I interrupt your feed of doom and gloom to inform you about a new community being created. This community, Knights of Lionhearts will be a place for young men to grow, improve, and even learn to use video games as a method of self-improvement.

My issue with these comparisons of Richard vs Caesar (or whomever) isn't that I think Richard is automatically the best. Very well may be that Caesar is better. My issue is that Richard's reputation is so clownish, silly, and wrong that hardly anyone can even make a reasonable comparison. "Well if you look at Alesia Caesar was obviously a master at siegecraft." You know who was probably the greatest master of siegecraft in the pre-gunpowder era? Richard. So somehow Caesar is brilliant and Richard is a silly goose. Just ridiculous "conversations". The fact that everyone is jizzing their pants over Alesia but has never heard of Richard's capture of Taillebourg at age 21 or his capture of Darum on crusade in 3 days with just his own personal troops (so few they couldn't surround it and were unsure where to set up)....this isn't even a comparison. Far be it from me to stop people from enjoying Caesar. He's obviously one of the greatest of all time. Does make me think Richard is probably a superb maestro though, given that his accomplishments are so legendary the modern mind cannot even comprehend them. As Ralph Waldo Emerson said..

@nonregemesse I’m thinking Caesar. I think Richard was mostly just screwing around.

@MemoryMedieval A good one: First Crusade (1098, Antioch): Chroniclers reported visions of saints appearing to aid the Crusaders. Most famously, the "Holy Lance" was "discovered" after a vision, and morale soared. Some even claimed to see ghostly armies of saints fighting alongside them.

📜Developer Accounts: The holy land is a hot and treacherous place. We try to build up the Lionhearts kingdom one brick at a time, but it does not come out without its hardships… Saladin and his army of bugs continue to hamper our progress. Occasionally, our engines of War will break down on us, forcing us to lose precious time fixing them. Even with these issues, we push forward. We will not stop till we have victory. Lately, we developers on this crusade have been working to ensure that many people can fight for the same location simultaneously. Bringing our forces together will be massive in bringing to be a successful Crusade. If thou art reading this, let me remind you to be ready for the crusade. Deus Vult.

The truth is everyone descends from both nobles and peasants. The difference lies in primogeniture. You're not Charlemagne’s most senior male-line heir. Still, you descend from Charlemagne just as surely as you descend from his lowest servant. It's essentially a statistical certainty. This video explains it best: youtube.com/watch?v=15Uce4…

Many struggle with the idea that heroism is relative to circumstance and ability. Samwise Gamgee (as an off the top quick example) was also a peasant and also a great hero, so to speak.
