@Lipedal @onebitbeyond Pior que fidalgo é uma palavra que tbm é usada pra atitudes. Só que ai escudeiro, que além de ser um "sinônimo" de fidalgo por tbm descrever atitudes, tbm pode ser usado definir aqls que carregam escudos (shieldbearer) ou que são aprendiz de cavaleiro (literalmente um "squire")

@MauroDias13 @onebitbeyond I'm not pretending, just saying it's a word that's far from common in PT-BR, while Wikipedia says it's used in Portugal. Maybe you guys still see it more regularly, idk. To me, I'd hate the guy right off the bat if he was called O Fidalgo Valente, and the loc work sounds spot-on.

@MauroDias13 @onebitbeyond We know the word exists, and we know what it meant. Calling a video game that would have been the worst possible call for a Brazilian Portuguese localization, akin to calling The Girl Who Played With Fire "A Rapariga que Sonhava com uma Lata de Gasolina e um Fósforo".
