@comethefrom I think the changes he goes through being slow and flawed makes him one of the more human characters in the series, but yeah he is unapologetically an asshole and I fw that it adds humor

@LiquidMusique2 my main issue with joseph is that hes just unapollogetically an asshole and lwk the most morally bad jojo its pretty hard to root for him with the shit he does and says in the part yea he does improve after caesars death but thats like right before the 3rd act of the part

@comethefrom Well I think you're just seeing Kars for what he was like in part 2, but in reality he was seeing the world from the lens of the rock humans and their history spanning centuries, he had more to him in that sense

@LiquidMusique2 he doesnt really have alot of stuff im interested in his motivation is just "i want to become the ultimate life form" with nothing else about him like yea tooru wanted power too but when considering the rock humans in part 8 and his overall reason for it its alot more interesting

@comethefrom I really like Jotaro as a character but I think he only really bloomed from part 4 onwards

@LiquidMusique2 jotaro goes from a stoic person who doesnt really have anyone besides his mother to care about to growing closer with joseph and the rest of the crusaders as the plot goes on i think his character is better in the manga tho its alot easier to see this

@comethefrom I personally think Kars is one of the best villains in the series, his motivation is similar to Tooru which is simply to achieve the goals set for his species, and Kars' defeat shows the true genius of Joseph even when massively outranked and fighting the literal perfect being

@comethefrom Joseph is my favorite Jojo and I think BT sets the path for his growth in maturity throughout the series, things like Caesar's death and his training with Lisa Lisa as well as him getting to know more about his family led him to grow slowly and become the mentor he is in part 3

@comethefrom And I agree with Giorno being the worst jojo, he's incredibly superficial, he's too perfect to be interesting and there's nothing to improve on him And yea diavolo is an awesome villain

@comethefrom I think sdc was one of the worst written parts imo, there was basically no character development outside of Polnareff (Avdol especially was such a waste of an amazing character) and the plot never advanced without 5 billion fights in between
