Once again (3rd time). It doesn’t matter “how much you’re buying” of $AMC. The effects of supply and demand are based on the aggressiveness between buyers and sellers. If you constantly buy bid prices, especially on PFOF brokers (where 90% of those orders are directed off exchange into dark pools) this has two factors: 1) No aggressive buying (@ the ask) 2) No demand (orders to dark pools) This is how there is no price discovery and constant ladder attacks. So if you want the stock to go up (primarily this one because no orders are going to lit markets), the key is options at the money or ITM. The cause is $1 calls (have a high negative delta) market makers job is to remain delta neutral. Therefore to offset that “short call” (they sold calls to you) they buy underlying shares in larger amounts than single orders… (100x the amount). 1 share is 1 share, 1 call is 100 shares. The effect = buying pressure. There is a scenario that’s created where gamma exposure becomes a very real thing. If market makers buy the underlying, they do so in an aggressive manner to offset the negative delta. They HAVE TO get the shares no matter the price to offset the short call. So if it becomes market makers vs shorts, that’s a different story. If you continue to listen to people saying “I’m buying more!!!!!!!” Reverse split. *roaringkittyoptions101meme.gif*
