Yesterday, Bill C-12 received Royal Assent. This legislation closes the loopholes that criminals and transnational organized crime networks have exploited to prevent removals in extortion investigations. I want to thank Minister @gary_srp and our federal partners for moving decisively on this. The BC Extortion Task Force — working alongside @CanBorderPAC, local police and partners — now has stronger tools to pursue these networks wherever they operate. Read more: canada.ca/en/immigration…
